Welcome to the point in ones life where a human being is baptized with fire. Eat the Words of the living God and experience the Holy Spirit give new life to a believing soul in Christ our Lord the King, Jesus. Feel the energy as our bodies digest the Word of Life. Death stings like fire when burning away at the flesh of our sin. Conversion is a painful process, but a necessary one! Because…in our flesh, all experience an infallible truth.

I pray we do not make the same mistakes in thinking the simple step to believing is an easy process to conversion when dealing with the divine and obtaining the gift of an eternal life! Have you inquired to know the answers for the reasons a professing Christian would still commit sinful acts upon being saved from them? It seems quite hypocritical from a worldly perspective. There is a clash of good and evil at work in the realms above that a converted soul will enter into without even realizing if neglected from the surrounding members of faith in Jesus. From a fellow earthly author’s point of view to our Christian faith, this devastates me! Because of the fear for our own lives rather than another’s. So we shrink back into a worse condition of pain than where we were in previously. Alright, if we are willing…lets change that and break the cycle right now to be the transformed creature God knows us to be! Are we ready?
Please grab a Bible and walk with Jesus as He explains to us the reasons for our experiences. [As we learn about our “trash” along the way, we’ll know whether to recycle or burn it]. Here we go.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5
Jesus is the “Word” talked about here as being “God” and was with God when giving life to all creation and breathing into the nostrils of Mankind (Adam) at the beginning. And that breath, or life of God, is the “Light” of men and women together. A woman is honored in that she is protected from view for the sake of her glory to one man. Just as a wife’s maiden name is covered by the last name of her husband, so too is the picture here when seeing “men” rather than women in the text. Women are married to men in honor of their true husband, Jesus our Lord, the King; and women are the glory of men. And as a man writing…think it appropriate to speak for all men thanking God so much for our women (whether single or married we belong to the Man who died for the converted in Christ Jesus). That actually brings us to the beginning, in Genesis. Please open to Genesis and read chapters 1-3 of the Bible.
22 The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:22-25
As you read through those chapters Jesus will show you where we went wrong at the very beginning; and also the reason we are still going strong in the wrong, even now. To sin means we missed the mark which caused our condemnation and separation from our source of life. Our source of life was not given by Adam and Eve, but by God (alone). However, we have unfortunately inherited Adam and Eve’s death that leads to condemnation or judgement into Hell; because God is Holy and a Good Father protecting His children from that wrath to come on those not truly converted from death to life; don’t be a serpent that would manipulate the truth in order to deceive. So how do we know that we are truly converted? Please turn to Romans 3 in the Bible.
19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; 20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin 21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. Romans 3:19-25
God commanding the man not to eat from that which would kill him to protect His creation, assigned the man to be a faithful steward against the evil that existed as a result of freewill within the realms of eternity; “For through the Law comes the knowledge of sin“. Personally…I’d prefer to be alive with a choice to a purpose, rather than artificially made without a purpose to choose life; that may be the difference between a conscious conscience and a clay vessel or metal tool. Thankfully in our God’s awesome love and wisdom decided to send His Obedient Son to die on the cross in the place of our condemnation that separated us from our God and Father. Jesus, in the Holy Spirit was “displayed publicly as a propitiation” to reconcile us by way of grace through faith. So if we are acknowledging being a part of a fallen world in sin and are confessing ourselves to be sinners in need of “redemption“, then we’ve begun the process to conversion. Please turn to Acts chapter 2 of the Bible.
22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— 23 this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. 24 But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. Acts 2:22-24
If you have honestly looked into your life to see the shame of our condition with a question of meaning…then look to the cross of the King of the Jews, Jesus Christ. Because there is where you’ll see the answer to our shame; it was nailed to the cross. God took our sin and placed it on His Only True Son that obeyed Him even to the point of the most agonizing death….that we should have died. Now we may say to ourselves that we are still dying, which would be true, but the ransom we could not pay to enter a life with God in Christ was the ultimate agony. Not death in and of itself. Now, thanks be to God our Father in Christ Jesus we can confidently enter into life with our brothers and sisters who hear and believe this good news! Do we believe this? Then what must we do? Please continue reading on in same chapter of Acts.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” 40 And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. Acts 2:36-41
Fix our eyes within the Holy text above and witness the work of God. This is our point of conversion upon receiving “the gift of the Holy Spirit.“. It doesn’t matter whether we’ve disobeyed our parents as children, fornicated in the flesh of our mind at youth, or are the most wealthiest powerful people on the planet as adults. All are unworthy as trash, but there is a huge BUT — because God has given us the opportunity at an eternal life with Him as our Father; this is what it means to be a part of a family of believers in Jesus Christ. Amen. So, lets jump in the fire of the Holy Spirit. {not literally into fire}.
10 The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.11 “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:10-12
