As the heart of my spirit searches for the unsaved have suddenly made my tent in this theory. If you’re familiar with my work since the beginning will know the flux of change as though moving from place to place; salvational engineering to providential ministries, writing to videography—constant development, forgive me, it’s exhausting… I understand.
Let this post be a starting place of rest. I’m setting up camp to build on this theory because I’m convinced by it’s potential; it’s like finding the right place to mine because of a feeling based on a hunch, “There will be diamonds!”, perseverance is my tool of choice.
Hi, my name is Nathan Dooley. I am about to turn 32 years old April 24th, and love my amazing wife Laura Dooley of 5.5 years! I came to the conclusion in high school that education was pointless (no offense teachers) because of a hypothetical idea born from Christianity, “If sin is real then this form of education is useless. So what’s the point?” I knew I wanted a family with the right job, doing whatever would afford an endless supply of kids; haha, crazy, I know, but the confidence was in this unwavering ability to learn hands-on, thinking to myself, “Even if someone is unwilling to teach, I’ll always be willing to learn.” So my mind was made up, and my calling, born!
…I’mma dagum SUPERHERO!!!!
freekin AQUAMANs’ got nothing on me… Yah, you heard me Jason Momoa! Sup! Got summ’em say? My tats are better than yours. [“Don’t hurt me”]
But seriously, during my high school years felt called to ministry without the proper guidance… hence “Time For Providence”. Providence means:
My aim in life has been to solve its’ mystery because of “hidden” abuse… That took a turn, didn’t it. That abuse brought about questions that turned into logical walls built to keep God out. How can providence exist? I wasn’t protected from abuse, so what the heck! That’s bullshit! In my spiritual warfare, or as the world would come to the logical conclusion to diagnose as “schizo”, I was unknowingly learning the martial arts of emotional logic psychology or emotional logic theory (ELT).
My theory is that emotion is superior to logic. Now the word “superior” carries this negative connotation like the plague of the coronavirus because it influences the mind to think that emotion holds a higher value than logic when that should not be the argument. My argument is that emotion is of higher rank than logic while both are equal in value, meaning that it is completely illogical for God to send His only Son to die on the cross and take away the sin of the world. Why not go about that in aaa… According to our logic… Different way than sacrifice and death? How does that make any sense!? BOOM!
In comes emotion to save my soul! So check this out! The death that Jesus died on the cross was never intended to be reasoned with by logic separate of emotion, nor understood without putting emotion in it’s proper place or rank. This is why I use the word superior to support this claim, because by definition (without emotional interpretation) it simply means responsible for logic per design. Let’s just start from the top:
- God is responsible for creation.
- Owner is responsible for material.
- Death is responsible for sin.
- Israel is responsible for Jesus.
- Salvation is responsible for truth.
- Life is responsible for eternity.
- Officer is responsible for law.
- Vengeance is responsible for justice.
- Existence is responsible for presence.
- Emotion is responsible for logic.
So as you can see, God loves you with two “E’s” because He’s presently willing to reason with you in your disagreements. But ultimately, the fullness of everything belongs to God as rightful owner, creator, and perfecter of all things. You might be asking what I meant by the two “E’s”, if you read the first letter of the ten bullet points above… You’ll see, “GOD IS LOVEE”. My entire argument hinges on that belief because of these verses.
1 John 4:7-21
“7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. 19 We love, because He first loved us. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.
My camp is set… I’ll build from here… I love you, my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
