I’ve been imagining a room.
Books line the walls. Warm lamps light the table. There’s an open Bible, a place to write, and a chair waiting for whoever comes next.
I wonder what you would bring into a place like this.
Maybe a passage of Scripture you’ve struggled to understand. A question you’ve carried quietly. Something you’ve written and haven’t yet shared.
Would we give each other enough time to find the words?
I hope we could study carefully, listen patiently, and return to something we’ve said with the humility to think again. Some questions might take several conversations. Some answers might ask something difficult of us.
My prayer is that what happens here would serve Jesus Christ and bear good fruit beyond this room—in our homes, our work, and the way we care for the people before us.
