I have been away for a little while, working on something called Gold Vein while also making some changes to Time For Providence.
The longer I work on it, the more I keep thinking about work itself.
Work changes. It evolves. It increases. It takes new shape. But it does not really stop. Even when God rested from all the work He had accomplished in the beginning, creation did not freeze in place. Light kept shining. Rivers kept running. Trees kept bearing fruit. The world continued according to His wisdom, His order, and His purpose.
That thought has helped me see Gold Vein less as another project and more as a small invitation into the kind of work God is already doing.
Gold Vein is being built around a simple idea:
Little adventures can uncover big treasures.
Not every step of faith looks enormous from the outside. Sometimes it looks like reading a passage of Scripture and paying attention. Sometimes it looks like taking a walk, praying honestly, starting a conversation, writing down what happened, or noticing evidence of grace afterward.
That is the kind of space I hope Gold Vein can become: a guided place where Scripture gives light, grace meets faith, and the road ahead becomes a place to respond to Jesus Christ.
Because the Christian life is not merely about having information near us. It is about hearing with faith.
That is what I want Gold Vein to help us consider. Not only, Did I read something? but, Did I hear with faith? Not only, Did I learn something? but, Did grace meet faith here? Not only, Did I finish the trail? but, Was Christ revealed along the road?
That is why the image matters to me: a rocky path, a golden vein, a pilgrim walking toward the light, and a cross shining in the distance. The image says what I have been trying to say before I even say it.
There is treasure on the path, but you still have to walk it.
And maybe that is not accidental.
Revelation 21:21 gives us a glimpse of the city to come, where “the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.” In the kingdom of Christ, even the street speaks of glory.
That does not mean every path feels golden now. Many do not. Some are rocky, confusing, and walked slowly with weak knees and tired prayers. But in Christ, the road before us can become a place where grace is found, faith is awakened, and treasure is uncovered.
So this is an introduction to Gold Vein.
It is an invitation to explore, experience, and embody what the Lord reveals along the way.
Jesus draws near. Scripture opens. Faith responds. And somewhere along the road, the heart begins to burn and the big treasure is revealed.
For now, Gold Vein is still a prototype. It is available for viewing and testing, but it is not connected to any active partner offer, and no demo code or pass is redeemable at any location. The point right now is to begin showing the shape of the idea and to keep building carefully.
