TODAY’S MYSTERY

What happens when you feel unsettled? There is a work of righteousness that produces peace. The effect of righteousness is quietness and assurance, but what is the scripture that solves this mystery? Write what you think that Scripture is by commenting [book chapter : verse/s].

SCRIPTURE CLUES
  • Hebrew 12:11 – For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness–in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].
  • Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I’m encouraged by this mystery verse on this Friday the thirteenth, and an eclipse?! That’s wild! So if you’re feeling a bit eerie, don’t fret, work righteousness! How do we do that?

    Jesus says to us: “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and the burden I give you is light.” MT 11:28-30

      I love this, it’s so refreshing to search through scripture together as we ponder the mysteries of His Word. Such great scriptures you’ve given, and it would suit to solve so well, but there is another.

      A hint perhaps – look into the major prophets 😉.
