TODAY’S MYSTERY

What is it that the Lord provides to you as your soul waits for Him? What is the scripture that solves this mystery? Write what you think that Scripture is by commenting [book chapter : verse/s].

SCRIPTURE CLUES
  • Mark 8:35 – For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
    • Psalm 62:1 – Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

JOURNAL

The scripture clues (verse’s of the day from biblegateway and youversion bible) pair beautifully together, they also almost seem contradictory – which is not the case.

Journal how these two scripture clues might communicate the opposite of their meaning, and then write out the accurate meaning of these verses, Reader.

    MT 10:28″Fear not those who can kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
    and vs 39: “If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it.”

      You’d think that clinging to our lives is what we’re suppose to do, but these verses pierce my soul and cause me to meditate. The life supply of Christ is… How do words describe? The experience is beyond words.

      What is the Lord to us for our salvation? There are two specific attributes of the Lord as our souls wait on Him. Keep digging.
