I’m still working on today’s verse 2, from Proverbs chapter 3. I’ve been meditating on it, still working through Scripture.
Pro 3:2 — For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.
And there is no way I’m going to make the deadline, which makes this an interesting daily devotional … something a bit spontaneous.
1 My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; 2 For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you. 3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Jesus didn’t forget the teaching of His Father, and He [Jesus] let His heart keep His Father’s commandments. Jesus didn’t cave to the temptations common to man even and especially while accomplishing the Work of His ministry.
