Interviewed by God – Session 1

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, “Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge? “Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me! (Job 38)

A true character of integrity is accomplished by humility.  Do you experience grasping at questions of meaning for your life, and or, life after death?  What does your past compare to Job’s?  And what does your current status or bodily condition compare to Job’s?  Have you reached a place of seeking the presence of the Almighty to explain reasons of things too wonderful for us to understand?  It may be because you’re being interviewed by God for either a promotion or demotion.

Then the Lord said to Job, “Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who reproves God answer it.” Then Job answered the Lord and said, “Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth. “Once I have spoken, and I will not answer; Even twice, and I will add nothing more.” (Job 40)

What is the root cause for your reason to object God on His terms for hire?  What if God sees you perfect and upright, still choosing to turn away from evil despite the mark of sin in your life?  And, so, what if God permits Satan the test of sudden destruction on your livelihood, family, and health so that your spirit may be proved belonging to Him all along, saved, bearing the mark of salvation that was always present with you for eternity with Him.  Please, don’t bother sending God your resume.  He will come visit you where you are and examine for Himself the qualifications you have, to freely live, as God set in motion for you to receive.  Let us see how you will contend against God, to reprove God.

We need to remember the One, Who blessed us with what we have.  Don’t lose sight of God by the distraction of whatever kind of pain we’re presently experiencing.  He has provided the way for a promotion.  Stay tuned.
