Intriguing question, ND. From experience, I know that God is faithful. I’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness in my life, and the life of others, firsthand. From Scripture, I see God is faithful because His faithfulness is demonstrated throughout the Bible. I know it from the countless stories showing God’s faithfulness over and over and over again.

I’d offer up Romans 4:19-21 as a possible answer.

“Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”

That’s the answer indeed, you’ve solved it!

I’m so thankful for your testimony and sharing —in so many words—the faithfulness of God in your life and others.

It’s awesome how the apostle Paul used Abraham as the example of unwavering faith, and in fact even “strengthened in his faith … fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.” It’s a great reminder when feeling down or discouraged about where I’ve messed up, not to allow that to weaken my faith in order to consider with unbelief what God can do, but to be like Abraham.
