Day 2: The Consequences of Sin for Unbelievers

Focus: Eternal separation and present darkness.

Key Scripture: “The wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Devotional Content:
For those who reject Christ, sin leads to eternal separation from God. This is spiritual death—a state of being away from the Creator’s presence. Even in this life, sin blinds unbelievers to God’s truth, leaving them in spiritual darkness. But the good news is that God’s grace through Jesus Christ offers eternal life to all who believe.

Reflection Questions:

  1. How does the reality of eternal separation emphasize the urgency of sharing the Gospel?
  2. What can you do to help others see the light of Christ in your actions and words?

Prayer Prompt:
Lord, give me a heart for those who are lost in sin. Help me to share Your love with them and point them to the hope found in Jesus. Amen.

Practical Application:

  • Identify one person in your life who needs to hear about God’s grace. Begin praying for an opportunity to share the Gospel with them.
