- Psalm 50:13-15 – Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
JOURNAL
Before I started this mystery I felt pain in my lower back where my kidneys are and have been complaining to Laura about it. She even wanted me to lay down on the floor so she could walk on my back to see if that would relieve my pain, but I didn’t want to do that.
This isn’t to imply some sort of prosperity gospel, but since I’ve turned my focus to the Psalms have found relief from my pain in my back. I don’t know how to explain it and maybe it’s best not to, but what I can describe is that there is a spiritual affection experienced when thinking on the Word of God. In that affection is the rejuvenation generated by the presence of God, a strengthening and health is provided and experienced. While that happens daily by our biological makeup… this is different.
