THE MYSTERY
Whenever you talk to the righteous tell them that they will eat the fruit of what they do. By solving this mystery you will eat the Word of God from a major prophet in the Old Testament.
What is the Scripture that solves this mystery? [book chapter : verse/s].
SCRIPTURE CLUES
- Psalm 34:15 – The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.
- Proverbs 3:22 – So they will be life to your soul And grace to your neck.
- Proverbs 20:7 – The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.
- Matthew 13:43 – Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
- James 5:16 – Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
JOURNAL
Even as I write this out I’m faced with the temptation to do what is contrary to being righteous. The test is real. Will I stand the test? I ask myself and God. I would like to think that I’m standing it right now by writing this out, but then there is the next moment and the next and then the next. How long will I stand without prayer before I fall, yet if I’m without prayer, then I’ve already fallen. God, direct your eyes upon me that I be found righteous in your sight according to the Lord. I confess… please forgive me, help me to endure the necessary discipline for righteousness. Please Lord, bless my readers. In Jesus name, amen.
