Although Jerusalem is unrighteous the Lord is righteous in her midst, He does no injustice. If there be any wisdom left in the hearer of the shameful, let them understand their injustice and know their shame, and repent.
What is the Scripture that solves this mystery? [book chapter : verse/s].
SCRIPTURE CLUES
- Psalm 146:7 – Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.
- Ezekiel 14:23 – And they shall console you when you see their evil ways and their rebellious actions. Then you shall know (understand and realize) that I have not done without cause all that I have done in Jerusalem, says the Lord God.
- Romans 2:2 – 2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
JOURNAL
When I first read the scripture verse to this mystery thought who is the woman the Lord is within until realizing, once I read the chapter, the woman is representing the people of a place. It’s sad when thinking of myself as one of those people.
What I find most intriguing about what is described from the mystery scripture is that in the midst of unrighteousness is the Lord’s righteousness, so thinking of oneself, imagine Reader, there is unrighteousness about you, and yet, there is also righteousness within the midst of you. That righteousness is not of yourself, but of the Lord God.
It is as thought the still small voice of the Holy Spirit within you is calling your name to come forth and face the truth in faith.
What is that truth?
