YESTERDAY
T4P’s mystery scripture, yesterday, was solved by my wife (Laura). Now… how she solved it… is sort of funny. Said softly,
“…Google…”
“Cheater!”
She’s definitely a cheater, don’t you think!?
Actually, to be fair, she didn’t initially give into lame Google, at least, not until after doing a word search on her bible app. She had remembered us talking about that scripture a few days ago but couldn’t pen it, so Google was the go-to.
And honestly, I’m glad that she used Google—not that there is anything wrong with that—cause it lets me know what I’m up against as far as making a “crime scene” out of Scripture.
The idea is… well… maybe I’m saying too much.
TODAY
Our scriptures for today are given below, but with a little twist. I’ll explain.

1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. - https://www.biblegateway.com/
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. - https://www.bible.com/
Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
The scriptures given above will be clues as to the mystery narrative below for solving the “crime” today. Notice that T4P’s mystery scripture from yesterday is revealed as a clue for today.
THE MYSTERY
When security ministers at the church in Corinth carried out the man to Satan, the church was in a state of sorrow and wept through the night. The church sought first the kingdom of God in the morning, and prayed that the Lord’s anger had only lasted but for a moment. Joy came in the morning because the church remembered that the sickness the man had was not unto death, but for the glory of God!
WHAT IS THE SCRIPTURE?
After laying out the “crime scene” above am inspired to share something with you, Reader.
There is sickness in me that God is still resolving, and you might be someone experiencing a season of sickness, or even on your death bed.
And if it be the Lord’s will you be healed, I pray for that!
If it’s a sickness you have power to heal from (much like mine), then I pray you make the necessary changes for that healing, because one day it might determine the nature of your belief, as vain, if you don’t.
So I pray… Lord, allow us to confess before you the nature of our sickness (sin), that we be forgiven. I pray, have mercy on us. Please heal us from our sickness that we live to be alive with You, and not to the destruction of death as a slave to Satan. Jesus our Lord (if the one reading is believing), it’s in Your name… amen.
Can you solve the mystery?
If so, write it in the comments. Don’t worry if it’s wrong, at least you tried!
Also, you might consider grabbing a journal in prep for tomorrow’s mystery scripture if you don’t already have your journal for solving this mystery, and listening for how the Holy Spirit might inspire you to write in your journal. Or even draw, for that matter! This is art!
