Have A Seat & Take A Load Off

Around the block from our studio room is a Place Unexpected, like out of “The Chronicles of Narnia” or something, but this place is real. It’s a place where you can escape from the reality of your “wardrobe”; in this place there’s a black (alloy steel)—comfortable enough—bench where me and my wife escape to have a seat & take a load off.

The lamp post in this clip resembles the one outside our room

Allow yourself (spirit and soul) to escape the present reality and take these metaphorical steps as though each written word becomes pavement beneath your feet.

You and I are walking on sidewalk, one foot after the other alongside driveways of houses, in the distance we see three options for a direction:

1) Stay straight.
2) Go right.
3) Cross left.

Each option will have its own unique mood for your experience, meaning I’ve walked them all and only one will give you the framework you need to bless your soul (because we’re not going backwards, devoid of will, or in a loop). Go right. The path going right veers off from the familiar sight ahead into the mysterious Place Unexpected; the path leads in between houses and curves off behind them out of sight into shadow.

I’ll Brow Kick You In The Face

I’ll Brow Kick You In The Face

Yeah, that’s right, you heard me…

I'll Brow Kick You In The Face

Right in the face. Marky Mark taught me that.

Man…wow, I let myself go there; It’s like, clean up your face or something before you just brow beat up the online world!

I’m learning a lot about this blog stuff. It’s important to stay consistent on posting. So here is one on why we need to be mindful of our facial expressions and upkeep. I mean look at that! I disgust myself! Although it is proving useful for some humor!

I have a time limit, so here we go!

Sometimes we can get so caught up in our emotions that we don’t even realize how our faces look to the outside world. You might be going into work right now without a care in the world, but let’s brow beat about that because you should care. If you’re a discontent person, don’t think that it’s disguised behind the veil of your fake face. It’s not hard to figure out if your a mean stupid idiot or not.

I won’t forget about the time going into work as a maintenance engineer (said lightly because there was still so much for me to learn) of a 14-story, five star, class AA office tower building (flex) to talk with the site supervising security officer at the time about life.

The officer was telling me about a circumstance in life that greatly concerned me because of the compromise of integrity and character that not only harmed himself, but had the potential to deteriorate the health of his family. So needless to say the conversation became serious enough that the officer said, “lets brow beat outside”. Once the conversation concluded, much respect was developed for each other by our ability to agree and disagree without compromising the relationship.

Now unfortunately that is not always the case. But the point is that our facial expressions have just as much power if not more, to deliver a message, as our words do.

So what message are you sending to yourself and the world today?

If you’re not content. Why aren’t you? Maybe this will help…

It’s funny! No idea my wife was recording me laugh at what I still thought was so funny, but probably even more funny that my wife has this confused look (again those facial expressions) why I find some things so funny that are not funny to her at all. I think that makes the situation more hilarious!

Anyway … I’ve crossed my deadline getting this published before the work day began. I hope it finds you with joy and if not, will put you in a joyful mood. I know it’s hard sometimes especially when in a state of depression.

In love.
