NOTE: I MUST KEEP WRITING

I’ve reached a point in posting consistently that a “side stitch” phenomenon is telling me to stop posting.

But I know that if I stop posting I won’t develop a well-organized, efficient mind — and one that is well-founded and certain, as Jordan Peterson wrote in his Essay_Writing_Guide (p. 3), and the reason I won’t develop that is because ‘posting’ means ‘writing’. I must. keep. writing!

I didn’t exactly meet my deadline that I was shooting for this morning, not because I hadn’t been writing, but because of the subject matter of what I was writing. From last night into this morning I was preparing my next post on Presenting The Gospel 101, but as I was preparing hit a contention that I need resolved before I move forward on that particular project—which gets me very frustrated because of the amount of time and effort put into something I thought was ready. I must. keep. writing!

Although this experience is frustrating, I’m thankful it happened or I wouldn’t grow, that’s the beauty to these experiences: growth! If I didn’t sit down to think through what I’m writing, waiting on the Spirit to move me along on the subject matter at hand, I might’ve made a serious mistake.

The nature of my contention is on the subject of justification—from a theological perspective. I’m experiencing conviction by the view Robert Govett has in his track (THE BEST MODE OF PRESENTING THE GOSPEL) about Rom. 5:18 – So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind. By which, Govett’s view to justification of life to all mankind is *…”upon” believers only.—R. Govett p. 10 (THE BEST MODE OF PRESENTING THE GOSPEL). And now to write out my conviction about that.

The conviction I have does not mean, necessarily, that I disagree with R. Govett as he explains that justification to mean what persuades man, as active and free, the option to come to Christ for salvation. Or in his words… “Evidence then has been laid before the reader sufficient to prove, that the work of Jesus has a universal aspect. That work is presented to man as a being active and free; and motives of every class are brought to bear to induce him, if possible, to seek that salvation which Jesus bestows on all who come to Him.”—R. Govett p. 10 (THE BEST MODE OF PRESENTING THE GOSPEL).

However, my understanding of justification of life to all mankind is presently different in that all mankind whether believer or unbeliever is justified by the righteous act of Jesus Christ, meaning that everyone is justified to appear before God whether saved “wheat” to be entered into the kingdom of God or judged “chaff” to be thrown into the lake of fire.

I’m of the understanding that justification is the very means by which all are resurrected to an immortal life, whether it be immortal in the kingdom of God or immortal in the lake of fire; without justification in Christ the unbelievers wouldn’t be resurrected, but annihilated, which contradicts in two ways, (1) R. Govett’s work on Eternal Suffering, and (2) the Word of God in Revelation 20.

In order for all mankind to be resurrected—whether to salvation or judgment—all must be justified, and by the righteous act of Christ all are justified, whether it be as saved (believer) to eternal life or as judged (unbeliever) to eternal punishment.

That’s my contention…

I must. keep. writing!

The heart of this outline dates back before I started this blog, but was inspired to outline it here as a post when prepping for the new years resolutions of 2021. And Judging from the outline there was more going on with me than setting goals. I had questions, and a hope for some form of videography work:

  • Skill/s to master:
    1. Writing.
  • Skill/s to master:
    1. Writing.
    2. Videography.

Writing down the intentions of my heart was key.

While unpaid as a writer—for now; unpaid as a content creator—for now; it was very discouraging not to have the desired outcome of my writing, as well as “experimental”—mostly failed—YouTube channels I’d created over the past years.

However, what has been changing over time—the evidence surreal—is fear and doubt that plagued me with insecurities vanishing. Since the time of my posting this outline the fruitful result has become making money as a video editor. The work of God’s grace is becoming more and more evident in my testimony as I humble myself to His will, and the result of His labor is not in vain.

I press on, and I hope you will as well by making your first move; write down the intention of your heart. What is your plan? Before you write it, prepare your heart to throw it away, because God’s plan is infinitely better!

Nathan’s Public Journal | I

Monday, 12/7/2020

Here I sit, cameras in view, the time for me to be off duty is fast approaching. It’s nearly 06:00 (military time) coming off of a 12hr deep night shift during the weekend. My occupation is as a level 2 Private Security Officer and my work schedule is not ideal, but it’s currently the closest to my preference considering the options; this schedule fits my focus at this duration of my life. That focus is … well, we’ll get to that, but right now I’m still getting over this cringe.

I didn’t realize just how, hmmm … damaged I was, until re-reading some of my material of old. I can see where my mind would get stuck in the trauma of my past; a lot of my first posts I’d published nearly 3 years ago are written in a language of which feels, irreconcilable. I think, needless to say, I’m thankful for the grace—to be ever learning through undeveloped skills—of inexperience; the mistakes are endless, and that’s frustrating (I learn hands-on). However, there is a story in my mess waiting to be written, just not yet. Alright—time to head home.

So… now I hope, is as good-a-time as any to welcome you to my journal. If you’ve followed along with me (I know those of you who have) until now, you know this about me. I’ve been thinking about this journal idea for too long now (like yesterday—that’s a joke); writing happens to be very therapeutic for me, so uh… thank you, Therapist, I guess. This idea is much-much more than a therapy session you get to sit in on to hear all about my life’s drama. It will be an empirical psychology, only it’s written to be watched through the lens of intuition and imagination that writing/reading ignites!

Psychology—according to wordnik—at its core; the study of the human soul. And there is where I’m going to learn how my salvation is alive! I don’t know about you, but I want to understand my soul. And more than that, I want to understand the relationship between salvation of the human soul and God. I want to learn about what my belief structure means; I found someone in the field of psychology, a mentor. I’m exercising (like working out in the gym or fitness center) the weight of the gospel in my conscience. So I thought, “Well, what if my ‘T4P’ people want to keep a watchful eye on this progress and quite possibly, discover something of their own by this as well?” A big part of this idea goes out to Dallas Fluegel (check em out on YouTube) because I really like how he has structured—is structuring—himself by his videos, and want to apply that to my life.

What if you could understand your personality?

Function the way that you do?

Feel the way that you feel?

Does that not sound absolutely terrifying, it’s so awesome! Anyway, there are reasons I behave the way I do as soon as I wake-up into this world of causality that provides insight into who Nathan is and why he is, the way he is. I want to tap into that meaning of myself, so… here it goes. *Let’s make this a page turner.

Wisdom has built her house

“Where is her house?”

1 Wisdom has built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;
2 She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine;
She has also set her table;

Her house is revealed in the revelation of the Lamb, that is where we will find the way to the house of wisdom. Jesus Christ is the way into this house.

“Where is Jesus Christ?”

Again (as you’ll find in the previous post) this following text will be small, but necessary for a reference point, and I’ll give the key verses after so you’re not forced to squint your eyes:

1 I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it. 4 Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it; 5 and one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”6 And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. 7 And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. 8 When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they *sang a new song, saying,“ Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.10 “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.”

The key verses from Revelation 5 above are; 1 I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it.”—John the apostle of Jesus Christ is witnessing business conducted in the kingdom of God which is where the house of wisdom resides.

You’ll see that the Lamb of God that was slain, the Son of God, and the Son of Man are all one-in-the-same Person. Jesus Christ lived in the flesh of Man as God to do a work; His ministry exists today in declaration of that work; Jesus was crucified on the cross as the Lamb that was slain for the purpose of salvation and reconciliation to God. This work is being witnessed by John at the time of his exile on Patmos—who was still alive in the flesh while caught up in the spirit—as conclusive inspiration to all “Being” (as I think Jordan Peterson would identify our archetypal existence) or Creation that Jesus Christ is our worthy King.

“What about the seven pillars?”

So check this out!

As we continue reading in Revelation 5 (v.12) we’ll find the meaning of the seven pillars!

“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”

I mean…

look!

at!

that!

When we proclaim the truth of the gospel and utter the oracles of God, we are serving the world with the 7 PILLARS that the Holy Spirit has hewn inside the soul of a believer!

Remember!

2 She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine;
She has also set her table;
3 She has sent out her maidens, she calls
From the tops of the heights of the city:
4 “Whoever is naïve, let him turn in here!
”To him who lacks understanding she says,
5 “Come, eat of my food
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
6 “Forsake your folly and live,
And proceed in the way of understanding.”

When the soul of a person unites with the Word of God by faith through believing in Jesus Christ, a consummation of marital intimacy occurs producing the significance of:

  1. Power
  2. Riches
  3. Wisdom
  4. Might
  5. Honor
  6. Glory
  7. Blessing

And this is how we set our house in perfect order as Jordan Peterson’s rule 6 would describe, but without Christ; we are serving the world in a different manner, one that has plates filled with the food of demons, and that is a house built on sand—don’t receive that person’s “food”.

How you have built your house in faith will determine the condition of food you have to offer; your house is your soul, your food is your influence, and your wine is a testimony about you, but Who do you serve; God or the devil? You can NOT serve two masters.

I’ve reached my deadline before tomorrow… write to you then…

Set your soul in perfect order!

The Heart Speaks Before The Mouth Opens

INTERNAL DIALOGUE

Silence… can you hear the language of your heart? …I for long time wondered whether someone could hear and understand the heart of my thoughts to interpret and explain their meaning? This month that wonder came into fruition and manifested when some friends of mine in a group text shared these two videos that were not directed at me specifically, but turned out meant for me inevitably:

Jordan Peterson has exemplified my title, a proverb, the heart speaks before the mouth opens because he’s contended with God or Being, and become successful. I’ve been greatly encouraged as I investigate the counsel from this man. I’m soaking up his material online, already bought his books. Jordan is a clinical psychologist and professor of psychology that is completely unaware of how his teachings are presently enlightening me to a different way of learning; in general yes, but about myself specifically, and everyone else especially.

I’ve been fascinated about the science of behavior, philosophy and psychology, especially between the ages of 14 to 24 because of the essay to understand the reason for traumatic events that brought about enough confusion in my life to pursue unanswerable questions, or at least, what appeared to be unanswerable. But this professor guy is like a prescription drug, your very own amphetamine to get focused about the meaning of life.

INTERESTING BEHAVIOR

Something I’ve found most interesting about Jordan is his behavior when asked about the figure of Christ during his interview with Susan Blackmore on the YouTube channel “Unbelievable?”, the question title of conversation was… “Do we need God to make sense of life?”. Jordan answers that question profoundly in my opinion considering the scriptures, “33 The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? 35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),” (John 10:33-35 and Isaiah 41:23).

In the clip above you’ll see how Jordan is tested about the figure of Christ, but answers in an extraordinary way, “…render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s…”. I feel like Jordan is perceiving their test rightly by that answer, because the personal relation between the person and God is an area of intimacy that no one has right to determine the truth of, and the claim they are seeking out of Jordan is a truth they already know and understand for themselves but ignorant of the significance in my opinion.

LEARNING SPEECH

I’ve been learning about the significance of believing how Jesus is the Word of God before proclaiming what that truth means. Anyone can say they’ve accepted Jesus as Lord; but is that someone truly understanding the power, weight and depth, gravity of what that actually means? Let’s take a look at that, because if you think that words of faith live separate from actionable belief then you are in need of self examination.

I suspect, the person who speaks belief without living it out is not enlightened about what truth means, and is either looking for it or is possessed by an evil ideology and is convinced it’s “truth”. For anyone looking for truth should feel excited for that adventure whereas anyone possessed of false ideologies should feel warned. To be convinced of an evil ideology as truth means to construct an evolutionary heart of hell. Let’s not do that. We need to deconstruct from those ideologies.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:8-10)

TALK IT OUT

How to learn the meaning of life is of an eternal value, but it will always come short of glory when not trusting the Person of God for salvation from sin. That is what it means to have a PERSONAL relationship with God through the name of His Son… so if you don’t, lets talk it out, aye?
