Once we were through the entrance … all the pressure and stress left.
It was not an easy drive into the Dallas Zoo to see the Zoo Lights. We didn’t realize that patience needed to be packed, gOOdNite! The heck is wrong with people! Why is it so difficult for everyone to be civilized on the road, you know…waiting our turns, giving the right-away. I mean, no lie, a couple prayers went out for you people without patience and consideration. I’m the only one allowed without patience, not you. Get it right! Joke, that was a joke, have mercy.
Prepare to leave 15-30 minutes earlier than your original scheduled time and make sure to pack patience for the drive.
Once we made it to the entrance gate to wait on some friends realized they checked *ID’s* “no exceptions” (thankfully we had ours on us).
Have your drivers license with you at the entrance gate.
Once we were through the entrance … all the pressure and stress left. It was an awesome experience and worth the trouble to get in.
You’ll enjoy some great camaraderie; especially with that one idiot friend that is just there…you know…thinking they’re liked, but it’s no secret, definite loser. No, but seriously go and have a great time! It will be an experience that your friends and family won’t forget.
You can enjoy the stupid ugly flamingos that just stand there and do nothing. Yeah, I know, millennials at its finest. Kidding … Kidding … flamingos are pink and adorable, everyone should go see them. Very beautiful! Annnd I’m a millennial, so I don’t want to hear it.
Go and check out the musical dancing Christmas trees with some hot chocolate! Very cool! You might also meet and touch the radiated tortoise “Sunny”!
Only touch/pet the top of his shell and one person at a time.

And of course the lit up tunnel! That is where it’s at! You gotta check this place out when it’s lit up like this! You won’t be disappointed!
It happen to be a warm evening the night we went. Might not be the case for you so…
