Travel Back In Time And Discover The Beginning!

Right now I’m currently studying through Genesis for myself, but also with my wife and some friends. The idea is to philosophize about the deep things of God together and understand our relationship with God for salvation.

We live in some very confusing times, but my God is not an author of confusion. Now while that is fact, it does not negate the reality of our condition because obviously confusion is prevalent in our society.

However, I think by exploring the genesis of our condition (death) will bring enlightening evidence to a very important spiritual truth that calibrates our understanding.

So let’s begin.

In…(Genesis 3:1-5)…it says:

Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die. ’“The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.””

NASB

So this serpent made some pretty serious accusations and claims of which are lies and false because it turned out God was right, eating that fruit was the wage of death and is why God warned us not to eat it.

Now… the information from that passage presents a thought that need be taken as a grain of salt, because it’s just a thought, but it seems to me that God may have had a plan for the fruit to be eaten in due course, just not prematurely.

However, it also seems the serpent saw an opportunity to become evil incarnate by giving premature information that betrayed the trust of God for political gain, to remove God from His throne and be in that place itself.

Anyway those thoughts seemed to be reasonable, but of course don’t take anything of what I say as gospel, listen to God and learn from His Word for yourself. Apart from that…

Lets imagine a scientific concept!

A concept that resembles ‘the makeup and movement of a serpent that slithers’, a snake!

Now direct that concept to the night sky and see the stars, imagine how the fabric or our universe is like the scales of a serpent that slithers on the service of the ground. Only this serpent described is not moving on the surface of the ground, but rather is the very makeup and movement of our realm.

How?

Lets travel from the ‘here and now’ of our crazy year in 2020 (or whenever) to the edge of the cosmos where our universe started. We’ve theorized this concept as, “The Big Bang!”. And that is where we reach the head and tongue of this snake, our cosmic serpent that is slithering to it’s demise, “For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss” (Matt.7:13).

As we put the science together, atheists will not deny the evidence that declares the glory of God throughout our cosmic reality. It’s stupid to think that the void of our expanse is without intelligent design. But the concern shouldn’t be about the evidence.

Rather, the more important concern should be about the relationship in which the evidence describes.

To reject the relationship in which sustains our existence is to be subject to a different relationship by accepting the voice that speaks out of turn, out of place, and receive it as gospel. The voice of our reality, a serpent.

That is what happened at the beginning when a sinful language came out from the mouth of a serpent to influence innocent ears with ideas about God that were untrue.

That is also why I think Jesus said, “18 …“I watched Satan fall from heaven like [a flash of] lightning.“, because of what our solar system, universe, is made of.

And so here we are at the beginning, right where the bible describes our diverge from the truth we once lived into our present state of death and destruction.

Now zoom in just before the woman eats the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, remember this woman is also the wife of the man that God created and warned also not to eat from that fruit.

From that point, hit the rewind; the woman does not eat the fruit, puts the fruit back on the tree; the woman is back inside the rib of her man; the man is alone without a woman to help him in the garden; the man is taken out of the garden to where he was first created.

We are now at the beginning of where God first thought to form man from out of the dust of the ground.

In…Genesis 2:4-8…it says:

This is the history of [the origin of] the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day [that is, days of creation] that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens— no shrub or plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground, but a mist (fog, dew, vapor) used to rise from the land and water the entire surface of the ground— then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]. And the Lord God planted a garden (oasis) in the east, in Eden (delight, land of happiness); and He put the man whom He had formed (created) there.

AMP

Think about what has happened before our wage of death that claims every soul in this reality!?

Think about how the man and woman live in a place of eternity without experiencing death!?

Think about what happened before God put the man in the garden of Eden!?

I’m excited to explore with you! Hope to see evidence of your reading this! And until next time…

The Shadow Of Death

†The Shadow Of Death†

Why do we die? What happens when we die? Wait, soooo…two people have not experienced death? Did we die at the beginning of mankind?

I take for granted this “blip” of life given me by God. It’s been quite a convicting ongoing study of death, key in on the “ongoing” because there are so many testimonials of this experience that it’s difficult not to get lost in confusion and fear of the unknown, to the point of just … giving up.

It is also difficult when finding the answer of consequence in relation to those not believing in Jesus Christ (The Word of God) to be that they are destroyed in hell. To think about someone you love so deeply being in such a place. It just doesn’t seem plausible that a loving God would do that. The experience that surrounds the event of death can cause many to question their faith, or understanding of life, it’s traumatic.

From my search and study in Genesis of the Bible found that I die because of the warning “…for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” I live in a “garment of skin” that testifies to the ground from which my father (Adam) was created; this ground I walk on, the dust that I am and will eventually return to, is cursed. Because the curse consequently … is death.

But that’s not the end.

The reason I believe Adam didn’t die as expectantly was because of the length of time that concludes 1 day. Adam lived to be nearly 1000 years old after the consequence of his sin, but it says that God warned “…for in the day…” so what happened? Why didn’t he die in that day? And why don’t we die in a day?

The apostle Peter of Jesus Christ enlightens me to this truth “that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.” so that explains the reason why Adam didn’t just die as expectantly. These forms of enlightenment are all throughout scripture.

Please don’t do yourself a disservice not to at least consider trusting God with your time in His Word to help you through very hard and difficult times and questions.

Ultimately my Lord God and Father in Heaven is sovereign in how life is governed. I can only hope that those who’ve heard or are hearing this gospel will believe in it’s message. Because the message will give warning and reward. To believe means you bear responsibility to the preaching of this Word that confirms your eternal salvation. To do so means to love, not only your family, but the entire world. Because my Lord and Savior did not die in vain, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The gift of the Holy Spirit that records your name in heaven is the reward.

I pray you will trust in the providence of God. Because none are without excuse, even the dead have heard and are hearing the gospel.

LIVE

In love,

Nathan Dooley

P.S. Tell me who the “two people” are that have not experienced death.

Broken | Coffee Cup

Broken | Coffee Cup

Went to wash my coffee cup and it slipped right out of my hand with a failed attempt to hackysack that sucker. Boom! Broken. It’s interesting though, how that reflects me. I’m broken. Are you broken? I need some coffee…oh wait. That’s alright, I have the coffee cup my grandma gave me.

How am I broken?

I’m broken by the reality of sin. I understand my condition, prone to selfishness. my body is descending to a place of death. But why? And what does that mean? Being equipped with the Holy Spirit inspires to enlighten me with the truth.

I recognize that the condition of my body represents the decaying matter of my soul passed on through Adam and Eve at the time of their deception and disobedience. The ground from which man was made is cursed because Adam listened to his wife by eating the fruit he knew not to eat.

The fruit Eve and Adam ate of was from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So we now possess the knowledge of good and evil understanding our guilt and just judgement of God.

↓But why didn’t we die?

The human intelligence has evolved to the point of creating simulations of ourselves with the intention of birthing an artificial soul or souls that can feel, think, and relate for it/themselves without human involvement; we will build a beast, the beast of revelation (mission complete). What next? The point is we want to determine for ourselves our time of death or to avoid the experience altogether.

↑We didn’t die because we don’t determine our time of death. God does. God created us. We didn’t create God. There is a time of death I pray the person reading this will not experience, but it is determined by God. Don’t try and say you weren’t warned.

Would you like to know when that time of death is that God determines? Me to, join the club, but we are given signs of the times to watch for. Pay close attention, because the time is near.

Although in process of sanctification…

I’m broken.

In love,

Nathan Dooley

Grandma

The Difference Between A Relationship And Religion

I was talking with a guy here recently about life. A military man. This guy has quite the story, a lot I can relate and not relate to, been through more than most in a short period of time being in his early thirties. It’s no wonder the reason he questions his relationship to God. He believes there is something, a higher power; but the God of the Bible and Christianity, not buying it or any other gods/god of the many facets to other religions.

Did you know that anger can be a religion?

How about a sport like soccer?

Even the military?

I resonate especially with the first two “anger” and “soccer”. But now, my religion, is my grandma. That might seem weird, but I’m telling you, only if you knew my grandma would you understand. This woman believes in visiting the orphans and widows in their †distress, that is literally her job as a caregiver at 77 (nearly 78) years old. I’ve seen my small but strong and wise grandma lift and guide an older gentlemen from his seat to the wheelchair and help people in their distress over and over again.

I’ve witnessed how this woman (my grandma) has loved a family that has rejected her time and time again. My grandma has slept outside in her cold car because she was unwelcome by family only to come back and love again and again. How… do… you… do… that? I’ve heard and seen the treatment, the abuse, she’s endured for the sake of Who she believes in and yet with humility sharing only her mistakes without blaming anyone else. She was told where to sit and what to do if she wanted to see her grand kids and guess what…she did. Writing this infuriates me, yet remembering, “Nathan, Nathan, how I was treated doesn’t matter…” are you kidding me!

My grandma is the type that might scold me for this praise but you’re reading a result of her labor in the Lord her God and I’ll scream aloud “Jesus Christ is Lord!” Because no navy seal can compare to my grandma, bring it! Just kidding, don’t hurt me. The point is religion is a religious practice of what you believe. And my grandma practiced hard with her Bible not only in hand or by word, but her actions. It’s true there are a lot of religions that provoke a lot of questions and demand certain practices, but that is the reason I labor for the preaching of the gospel to all nations.

Because religion to the gospel is defined by visiting the orphans and widows in their distress while being unstained by the world. It is not putting yourself in chains as though you can’t have fun or enjoy life. But it is respecting the true God of your soul and having a relationship with Him every moment of every day. I’m not saying you can’t have a drink of alcohol unless it’s to your destruction (abuse it—then don’t drink it). I’m not saying don’t have a cigarette or cigar, maybe even marijuana depending on where you live, but not to your destruction (addicted—then don’t smoke it).

You might be convinced you’re unable to break a bad habit, but respectfully, you’re wrong. That is like saying, “I won’t stop cheating on my wife because I’m unable, I’ll get cranky, so wheres my porn at!” We all have the ability but lack the discipline because we’re given over to not caring, “who cares”. The One Who created us cares, God didn’t create an experience (sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll) to be abused or take control of you. Have an experience in moderation and respect of wisdom and honor. Now that … is quite a thrill!

Don’t make a religion your excuse not to believe in this gospel being preached to you. We need more Christians speaking, writing, videoing the essential of the gospel of Jesus Christ; Not speaking, writing, videoing my/their personal preference, expectation, or standard of life change—the Holy Spirit of God that convicts every believer will do that work of salvation, justification, and sanctification. We are just providential agents.

I love you Grandma,

Nathan Dooley

The Testing Of Your Faith

What use is it, if someone says they have faith but no works? Can that faith save them? If a person is without clothing and in need of food, and you say to them, “Go in peace, be covered and filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? (James 2:14-16). Is there a person in your life that is without clothing (help) and in need of something to eat (spiritual food)? Are you that person?

I’m going to use the figurative language of “clothing” and “food” to *self-control* and *wisdom* for my case. Because I do not know and will not presume to know what help you need without learning your heart (so feel invited to reach out to me). But learning of my embarrassment might help you. It’s embarrassing, as well it should be, to confess my recent lack of self-control to my wife and brothers in Christ. It wasn’t that I’d looked at pornography or sought anything out to feed this duress of orgasmic relief. But to keep it “C” rated, Christian rated. I uhhh, “choked the chicken” if you will, and the chicken liked it. I know, deranged, I agree. But the heart of my issue is a relationship between respect and worship.

I say that my faith is in Jesus Christ. So why then am I still given over to these lustful temptations? Why hasn’t the Holy Spirit removed the struggle of sin from my life?

My struggle of respect is subcategory to the root issue of pride. I think to myself, “now that the Holy Spirit lives within me I’ve overcome sin.” Give special attention to the I’ve of that thought process. Now … because I was given over to the lust of my heart being a christian can handle it one of two ways. Get frustrated enough to say, “Sense I’m unable to resist the urge; I must not be saved, and or am stepping away from faith for now.” (John 6:66) (confused about the power of faith) or “I’m a sinner saved by grace through faith, it’s not of myself, but is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) and confess it for healing (knocked down, but it’s not over, let’s do this). Share this post if you know someone that can relate to this because they’re not alone. We are in this fight together in Christ.

“Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart.”

Psalm 26:2

I don’t want to be like the disciples that walked away just because the testing of their faith was hard (John 6:66). This will be hard to hear because it’s hard to ask, but in love. Are you a coward? Am I a coward? Let’s brow beat about it! Listen, only your friends are going to tell you what you need to hear and I want to be your friend even if you don’t like me. Believe me, I don’t like myself a lot of the time. I mean…my poor wife (I love you honey). I digress.

It is especially difficult to recognize the “clothing” *self-control* I need if I don’t respect anyone telling me where I’m wrong or allow them to help me let alone the Lord my God and Father in Heaven by the power of His Spirit in the Word of His Son—the gospel. It is a hard HIT to my pride when I think I’ve overcome sin that I never overcame nor will ever overcome MYSELF.

This is the GIFT and LOVE of God; that He gave the ONLY ONE capable of overcoming sin, and it took DYING for it to be overcome.

Just because I was baptized in reflection of the death of Christ does not qualify me as having overcome sin (as though I did it myself). It means that I recognize that I’m not capable of overcoming sin (which brings me to the point of death saying “I’m a sinner” in need of saving from this death) and will always NEED the spiritual food {bread and wine} of JESUS CHRIST {blood and body} which is eternal salvation for my soul (Holy Spirit inspired Word of God). That is why I rejoice in these trials and tribulations even when I miss the mark because Christ my Lord DID NOT MISS THE MARK!

I mean … writing this gets me pumped up and ready for war like the appearance of God just showed up having eyes a flame of fire clothes dipped in blood and His name called The Word of God that strikes down the beast and kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS! (Revelation 19). So…

…don’t let sin convince you of your worth to God, you are tested because you are worthy of His love.

I encourage you as a brother of the faith in Jesus Christ, you’re not alone and we need each other. Read Hebrews chapter 12! My (food) *wisdom* is found there. But here is a piece of it—

“4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,

My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor faint when you are reproved by Him;
For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He scourges every son whom He receives.”

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”

Also, the action steps I’ve taken to go to war against the present duress of sin is memorizing:

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:6-10)

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:7-10)

I Don’t Follow Jesus

I Don’t Follow Jesus

“What!? No.” I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not trolling you. And remember, even though I don’t follow Jesus … keep loving people like He did and treat them as you want to be treated. Don’t try and scroll down to see what my aim is here. Does it surprise you? I mean…

I think John L. Cooper said it best—

“More and more of our outspoken leaders or influencers who were once “faces” of the faith are falling away. And at the same time they are being very vocal and bold about it.” (link)

And it only makes sense according to the Christian Post—

“Back in the 1930s, only 5% of Americans did not identify with any religion. In 1990 that number had risen to 8%, a modest increase after more than half a century.

But these last years have brought a dramatic change. By 2008, the number of Americans not identifying with any religion had risen to 12%, and by 2012, it had risen to 20%, with the number among millennials around 30%.” (link)

So this should not come as a surprise to you if it does. Especially if you’ve read how dark my previous post was. I mean, come on. I’ve been in the pits of unquenchable fire and suffering. I guess now the question is whether I truly EVER followed after Jesus? Some might think that my believing was in vain and only wanted something to gain. That I NEVER truly believed.

I would disagree and counter you misunderstand the enlightenment of your own faith or have not been enlightened to the truth of the gospel altogether. Just because you read that I don’t follow after Jesus does not mean that I wasn’t enlightened by the truth of the gospel, see I still know the truth and that is what should make this statement alarming.

The real question is—

Can the person turned away from their faith in Christ re-enter the Christian faith?

Sense we are talking about me because I’m selfish. The answer to that question for me is “no” because in my case I’ve confessed to taste the heavenly gift that made me a partaker of the Holy Spirit. So it is impossible for me to be renewed again to repentance since I again crucify to myself the Son of God and put Him to open shame. Don’t believe me, check out Hebrews chapter 6 in your Bible.

It is the Holy Spirit through the inspired words of the Bible that speak with authority … I’m just a messenger.

That is what happened to Judas Iscariot. Judas held onto his thievery at heart, did not confess this sin. To do this leaves the “believer” (by association) in this case, Judas Iscariot, vulnerable to Satan’s influence (John 12:4-6) and ultimate possession. This is why it is so important for professing Christians to not sell their soul for the cost of their sin not confessed.

38 John said to Him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him, for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is for us. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward. (Mark 9)

49 John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.” 50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is ]for you.” (Luke 9)

I’ll confess that I used this title to especially peak the interest of those who thought they knew me to catch them like a fish. Because it’s the kind of friend I am, it’s what I do, that’s my humor and getting a rise out of my friends is quite fun, I admit. Not with the intention of destruction of course, then there would be an issue.

I wasn’t lying about not following Jesus, but I do follow after Jesus with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind. So brothers and sisters in the faith, don’t hinder me just because I’m not following after the style of gospel in you. Don’t hinder me just because you think there are enough christian resources out there for me to get plugged into one without having to startup a recourse of my own. Don’t hinder me…

In Love.

Divided

Divided

It’s sad to reach a point in life when the thought of hell seems much more appealing than to remain in the skin of your flesh. When the thought of escape is your only option, but are petrified. When a call for help is not meant for saving.

I don’t hate my life. But that unreliable feeling of hate sure is poking and prodding. What I hate is being divided by the questions and doubts of people that presume to know me when they don’t have a clue; there is just not enough time in the world to be completely free with people that choose not to believe they can trust you unless you adhere to their “divine” perception for you, then they might believe. As long as you stay within their realm of interpretation and perception.

It’s incredible the amount of attention you will draw to demons when living for your faith “Jesus as Lord” by recognizing sin for what it is and how I’m in desperate need of salvation. It’s incredible the sirens and temptations in place just for you. It’s a constant crouching (Genesis 4:7):

“Those people see you as a tyrant. That woman wants you. That man desires you. Do this to get rich. Say that to make a difference. You’re a sexy beast, well endowed, who can resist. It feels good to be right. It feels good to have power. You’re a liar. You’re a fraud, poser, fake, and the list goes on because you’re unworthy. Don’t waste my time. You have our undivided attention. Look at him, he is better than you in every way. You’re smart and beautiful, but ugly and stupid too. I feel depressed. You’re unstable, unfit, unqualified. Here is your kingdom of heaven! No, there it is!”

I ask myself, “why is this happening?” But it only makes sense. Because…demons are taking the time the world does not have to get to know you and me. Whether the world or I want to believe that or not, the truth sets us free. I hate this spiritual war that divides my soul and blood into pieces as bread for demons and wine for their minions. If you are a believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ, you’ll understand this war, but if not then I hope this will prick at your conscience because you’re held captive thinking you’re free.

They are clever. The devil and his demons … but I see them. And they know that I see them. “It’s a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31). I’m in hell learning the tips and tricks of insanity navigating my way through the crowd in hope to save some if not all, “have you heard…“.

It’s sad…

I’ll Brow Kick You In The Face

I’ll Brow Kick You In The Face

Yeah, that’s right, you heard me…

I'll Brow Kick You In The Face

Right in the face. Marky Mark taught me that.

Man…wow, I let myself go there; It’s like, clean up your face or something before you just brow beat up the online world!

I’m learning a lot about this blog stuff. It’s important to stay consistent on posting. So here is one on why we need to be mindful of our facial expressions and upkeep. I mean look at that! I disgust myself! Although it is proving useful for some humor!

I have a time limit, so here we go!

Sometimes we can get so caught up in our emotions that we don’t even realize how our faces look to the outside world. You might be going into work right now without a care in the world, but let’s brow beat about that because you should care. If you’re a discontent person, don’t think that it’s disguised behind the veil of your fake face. It’s not hard to figure out if your a mean stupid idiot or not.

I won’t forget about the time going into work as a maintenance engineer (said lightly because there was still so much for me to learn) of a 14-story, five star, class AA office tower building (flex) to talk with the site supervising security officer at the time about life.

The officer was telling me about a circumstance in life that greatly concerned me because of the compromise of integrity and character that not only harmed himself, but had the potential to deteriorate the health of his family. So needless to say the conversation became serious enough that the officer said, “lets brow beat outside”. Once the conversation concluded, much respect was developed for each other by our ability to agree and disagree without compromising the relationship.

Now unfortunately that is not always the case. But the point is that our facial expressions have just as much power if not more, to deliver a message, as our words do.

So what message are you sending to yourself and the world today?

If you’re not content. Why aren’t you? Maybe this will help…

It’s funny! No idea my wife was recording me laugh at what I still thought was so funny, but probably even more funny that my wife has this confused look (again those facial expressions) why I find some things so funny that are not funny to her at all. I think that makes the situation more hilarious!

Anyway … I’ve crossed my deadline getting this published before the work day began. I hope it finds you with joy and if not, will put you in a joyful mood. I know it’s hard sometimes especially when in a state of depression.

In love.

The “Bridge” Illustration (Part 1)

The Heart Of Lucifer

I’m speaking to those of you who have heard and are still hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet not believing.

I’m not speaking to those who claim they’ve not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I think the lot of you not believing in this gospel is grounded on a profound question:

Does that mean those who have not heard are going to Hell?

My quick opinionated answer is “way above my pay grade” and a strong “depends” (potential future post) because wherever they are in their respective regions of the world are entirely entrusted to the providential care of God. (Romans 1:18-32) (Romans 2:12-16)

I need you only narrow your gaze in retrospect of your personal belief system. But widen your gaze in respect of what we are about to discover in the Bible together.

We are going to discover some spiritual clarity by this satellite view of the gospel.

BP1

You’ll find the same photo presented above in the previous (Introduction) post. But thisBefore the Beginning of Man time our view is not so disoriented as in the previous photo, because we could not perceive whether we’re looking skyward at the clouds, or a fog, maybe dense smoke in the wind?

But we now have some clarity. We have a satellite view of the Earth looking at clouds over the Indian Ocean with Indonesia and Malaysia to the east.

If you are a person that does not believe in the God of the Bible, the testimony of Jesus Christ. Then my confrontation is that you have a disorienting view of your future that threatens the condition of your soul and place in eternity.

That confrontation has the potential to come across judgmental—as though the answer of my hypothetical is the gavel to your freedom. I’ll assure you that that is not the case.

I lived in a thought that I believed, but didn’t truly understand what that meant until realizing more and more, day after day, the process of sanctification. Mind you, it is still in process. So lets widen our gaze.

BP1.

The gospel instructs me to make disciples; the bible is my instruction manual, and the Spirit of God is bearing witness to all that is being written by me and read by you; it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God, so although humorous at times, do not take this lightly; my soul and spirit are distressed at the concern for those who can honestly say from within that they’ve heard the gospel, but are scared to trust in the message and or have turned away from the faith altogether.

Don’t be afraid. Come trust in this gospel of Jesus Christ. You’re being recruited for war against the evil oppressor of your soul and the souls of all nations.

The harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.

Stick with me! Because in case you didn’t notice by the plethora of distractions, we‘re on the verge of a misconception.

self-sustainability *

How that ties, comes together, is actually the start of our revelation to the “bridge” illustration. It begins at the heart of Lucifer revealed in the 2nd and 3rd chapters of Genesis, the 14th chapter of Isaiah, 28th chapter of Ezekiel, and the 12th/13th chapters of Revelation.

Don’t misinterpret or misunderstand the use of the video above. I’m not “knocking it”. Technology is a useful tool when maintained in biblical context. That video is only meant to describe and enlighten how advanced we are and to alert the christian children growing up in this age to an inevitable prophecy. Don’t freak out!

Oh yeah. Time for some coffee!

It was not an easy drive into the Dallas Zoo to see the Zoo Lights. We didn’t realize that patience needed to be packed, gOOdNite! The heck is wrong with people! Why is it so difficult for everyone to be civilized on the road, you know…waiting our turns, giving the right-away. Why Men Should Have Long Hair

No offense to the men with short or no hair. This is the first time I’ve grown my hair out as long as it is and I must say, it can feel real good when your wife plays with it! There is something about having long hair that gives a sense of accomplishment! So if you’re capable of growing it out, try it, but if not, get a wig. It will be fun and funny.

Pros To Men With Long Hair:
  • If you’re married or have girls, expect it decorated and played with on the regular.
  • When well groomed, the look can give off a strong sophisticated appearance.
  • Samson
  • Conversation starter on 1 Corinthians 11:14 (although that hasn’t happened yet).
  • Once long enough, you can donate it.
  • Enlightenment on the maintenance that seems to come so naturally for ladies.

Cons To Men With Long Hair:
  • None

Kidding. There are actually several cons to men with long hair, but that can wait for a future post!

Exit To Enter

Exit To Enter

Have you seen the movie, “The Adjustment Bureau”. If you haven’t I think it’s worth the watch because sometimes you’re at a place in life where the exit of what you thought was your career or direction is worth the risk.

There is a scene toward the end of this movie that will resonate with anyone, if it doesn’t, then you don’t have a soul. Kidding. But seriously, watch this scene!

It’s awesome because both David (Matt Damon) and Elise (Emily Blunt) reject an inexorable plan of success for the opportunity at love. They both took the “exit” of their separate reality’s that would otherwise lead to impact the future for good by their success to “enter” a reality of unity in love despite the odds. That requires a great deal of faith that I believe is available at the very core of our nature. And once tapped into, you’ve succeeded the plan of your environment to face uncertainty and death with freedom. Do you feel free? It might be time to consider an exit.

When You’ve Cheated On Her In Her Dream

When You’ve Cheated On Her In Her Dream

I wake up to my wife getting ready for work and check how I can help, make coffee, prepare food, or whatever to get her on her way. But something was off. I notice some distance. Before asking anything, she says, “I’m a little mad at you because you cheated on me in my dream.” Now…I’m laughing on the inside because she is trying hard not to treat me like this actually happened, but assure her that it was just a dream. Then she asks, “What would you have done if I caught you?”

The narcissistic egotistical pride thought process says, “That question is unwarranted and is not possible because I wouldn’t get caught.” and (even if that thought is a joke) would invalidate her present feelings. Don’t do that. The considerate prudent thought process is realizing how this dream has affected her, and embracing with, “It wouldn’t be healthy for me to answer as though that has or were going to happen; the thoughts that surround that question only mean for harm on the covenant of our marriage, but let me reassure that I love you and will honor our marriage.”

Husbands and Wives. Marriages. Let this be an encouragement to you. We are at war, not against each other, but for each other!

With love.

The Bridge Illustration

(Introduction)

Let there be curiosity.

Do you ever wonder about your beginning?  Your parents’ parents, their parents, on and on? And how about your existence, living at this present time with a detailed conscience that defines who you are and whats more; a consciousness about yourself, others, and God? What about your end, when you die? Do you wonder about that? Or how about the future, the end of your children and their grandchildren? Are you wondering, will you wonder…?

Before the Beginning of Man

Moses of the Bible was a man who wondered. He wondered at the sight of a burning bush (Exodus 3) that would not be consumed. This bush changed Moses’ life! I can hear you christian critics now “it wasn’t the bush…” neh neh neh

tenor

Disclaimer: I (Nathan Dooley) am not an ordained minister…yet. It could happen one day. Just saying.

And I would agree with you…definitely not the “bush” that changed his life; it was the appropriate tangible object to use for the presence of God and His awareness to a specific problem which Moses’ gets insight, clarification, prophecy, and power to be a solution. He became the man [vessel, or instrument of God] to deliver his fellow Hebrew people, the people of God, Israel, from Egyptian slavery to a promised land of milk and honey. He brought forth what we are now dissecting in the 21st century (Exodus 34:27)—the first five books (Genesis—Deuteronomy) of the Pentateuch (Greek) or Torah (Hebrew) Bible. The scripture in the photo above gives me a bit of insight into what Moses discovered from God, the beginning before the beginning of man (Genesis 2:4-6). If you have not realized by now, this is not your typical “”the “bridge” illustration”” you’d find through research as shown below:

bridge ill research

Which is some awesome content worth looking into! But I want to go further and deeper because this bridge stretches “As far as the east is from the westSo far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)…

…, from past to future, beginning…to end.

To get back where I’d left off. I think it’s important to note that Moses had a very important entrepreneurial trait, he was a risk taker. When realizing that the bush was not consumed by the fire could’ve reacted like “AWE HAIL NAW, NOPE, NOT HAPPEN-IN!” and ran away. But he didn’t do that; it was more like, “let me check this here awesome burning but not burnt bush out, mmm-kay.”. Funny aside, actually, and quite literally according to the NASB of Exodus 3:3—”I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up.”

QUESTION:

WHAT IS A RISK YOU’VE TAKEN OR WOULD TAKE THAT HAS OR WOULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE? WRITE IT IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.

Take a risk with me now. For those of you who do not believe or are otherwise on the fence about believing in God, this is your burning bush moment. Your name is being called. Go meet God. Matter of fact, envision this:

You type “Go meet God” in your google maps (which could also be your nearest “Barnes & Noble” or “Half Price Books” that have Bibles available) and then hear my navigating voice upon your arrival at a Bible location, “you have arrived at your burning bush”. Get it, instead of “destinat…

weird face

Alright never-mind, that was weird, scratch that:

You type “Go meet God” in your google maps (which could also be your nearest “Barnes & Noble” or “Half Price Books” that have Bible’s available) and then hear my navigating voice upon your arrival at a Bible location, “you have arrived at your burning bush”. Get it, instead of “destinat…moving on.

But seriously. Take the risk to go meet God. Check out this link for the BibleGateway, or install the YouVersion bible app on your phone, find your nearest library or book store; it’s all at your finger tips, but read the Bible to hear the Word of God and listen with all that you are and everything you’ve got (heart, mind, soul, and strength). Why take the risk? You might ask. Because death pricks at the conscience of the living. Our life is an experience that feels on fire, yet not consumed. I believe that death bears testimony of a wrong doing in history where we as a created being of God missed the mark and are due justice. I also believe that God was completely prepared for such an event and that is where we’ll find Christ, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let this introduction of the bridge illustration peak your interest to discover your faith and take the risk to believe in the God of the Bible, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because without faith to believe, you will not understand what is to come. Thank you for reading the >introduction<! Now go meet God and I’ll hope your back for <part 1>!

Chronological Bible Study-The Beginning of Beginnings

img_4762-1.jpg
The Baker Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Time Lines

Join me on Mt. Sinai with God and Moses to discover the beginning of our beginning. This is a very exhausting study but well worth the time and effort. In my Bible I learn that Moses is the author of the first five books also known as the Pentateuch. These books were more than likely written during the 40-year period of Israel’s wanderings in the desert: 1446—1406 BC

Note: the “BC” given after the calendar year (1446—1406 BC) means “Before Christ” but if you see “BCE” (nowadays), don’t be alarmed, it just means “Before Common Era“. (According to my research). The reasons surround appeasing those not Christian and an arguably inaccurate calculation of  Jesus’ birth. It’s believed that Jesus Christ was born around 6—4 BC, which is why these labels (BCE/CE) “CE” for “Common Era” are being used today by many publications rather than (BC/AD) “AD” meaning “the year of the Lord” as it references a Latin phrase: anno domini (“the year of the Lord”—after Jesus was born.)

So why Moses? “God… Why Moses?”—A prayer guiding me through a lot of scripture to uncover the context of that time. Moses was beautiful in the sight of his mother and lovely in the sight of God. God heard the outcry of the sons of Israel at the time of their oppression in Egypt and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It’s time to organize the sons of Israel as God’s covenant people and Moses is the man God will be with to do it. It all points to Jesus Christ.

I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning (Conclusion)

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

“17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10)

What demons are effecting you? I needed to read this again. The serpents and scorpions I face are but whispers of fleeting pleasures that distract me from my purpose. I ask myself, “How do I defeat them? There are so many.” The enemy whispers back, “here’s an idea…” And so here I am, stuck in this pattern of doubtful questions, my faith deteriorating. Revive me Lord, save me from this present evil, You are my salvation. Your blood alone is the ink of my name in the book of life. I will follow you, teach me by Your Spirit as you taught people in the time of your flesh. I love you. Amen.

I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning (Part 1)

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Who is Satan? I think gotquestions.org answers this question well. But how was this angelic being susceptible to evil? That intrigues me. If I’m not careful how to explore the meaning of such a question, might be in danger of the same demise as Satan. We can observe that evil is available at the throne of God, but although available, does not penetrate God. How can we know? I believe the answer is found by a relationship with His Son.

Jesus Christ (the Son of God) said this:

17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10)

Is it not a matter of faith to trust a person at their word? Say my dad owns a business that he entrusts to professions, and I (his son) am sent to tell those professionals the reason for our success is their shared ownership of this company. The professionals operated as laborers, but once I arrived as rightful owner to tell them of their ownership…they operated as professionals. Why the change? Because, by faith, they believed to be owners, and rightfully so because my word is true. To question my authority is to be without faith in who I am, where I came from, and the power I have. I believe the same to be true in that passage of scripture. If I believe in the testimony of Jesus as Jew from Nazareth and Son of God risen from death by the power of God, and provoke by questioning what authority He has, am doubting who He is, where He came from, and the power He has. Do not put the Lord your God to the test (Luke 4:12). Alright, I need some ice cream…see you in part 2.

Coffee At Midnight In The Giant City

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Have you ever discovered the moment you’re awake at midnight with some coffee looking at a photo that is talking to you? That is where I’m at. When I first encountered this photo the word “maze” came to mind describing my immediate perception, but learned that this maze is called “Giant City” in Illinois. But aside from that information. This photo that speaks is, actually, not the one talking.

The very Person in my mind I think about when looking into this photo is Jesus Christ. But I don’t claim to see an image of a person I’ve never seen, nor do I claim to hear His voice having never heard what it sounds like. I claim to perceive Him. There are a number of different ways this photo is interpreted for bearing meaning in my life, but there is only one that will make a difference. The meaning of Jesus Christ. When I look at this photo I experience a walk with the Holy Spirit of God teaching me the truth about myself within the maze of this world. No matter the path this world has to offer, it is a path to death just as you see the paths presented in the photo, but there is a path you won’t see unless you perceive it. That path, is a path of faith.

To experience faith is to place your confidence in a promise that someone gives you.

I promise you, follow me and we’ll get out of this maze.

The question is whether you’ll believe in the promise even if the person that promised dies. That is what Jesus Christ—being the image of God as the Son of God—promised. He promised that He would be raised from the dead and resurrected to the right hand of God. That is recorded to have happened in history past, but is still a living promise today. The promise is for those that believe to be resurrected with Him right now, having been baptized with Christ as a symbol of obedience by repentance. You’ve chosen to acknowledge that all born from the seed of Adam are guilty of sin (lust, idolatry, and pride) and so convicted to the point of death that you place your trust in the promise of God. The grace of God is given through that promise of faith, you have mercy, not wrath. But if you do not believe in that promise, you have His wrath, not mercy.

So my purpose in the maze of this world is to plant a seed, a seed of promise. The promise that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Everyone is born into this life by the design of God, a design that was good corrupted by evil. So every person has had, has, and will have the opportunity to believe, ask the thief on the cross that died with Christ.

A Letter Of Faith To The Unbelieving

Nathan, a believer in the faith of God my Father and Christ Jesus my Lord writing after the example of ambition in the apostles,

To a world under the influence:

It has been written that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that you might not see the image of God. This letter is being written with a prayer, hope, and warning for you to remove the veil that blinds your mind. In the conscience of an unbelieving soul affections are stirred to please oneself. There is a truth of conviction within that is rejected, because the conviction informs our conscience of right and wrong. Where does this conviction come from? There is a power of good and evil within the sphere of life we live, the unbelieving will choose a life of rejecting the truth because of our design incapable of fully grasping the understanding of God, Who is good. We turn from the prayer of God’s desire, that all would be saved, and choose a life of a god (“I don’t need saving”). As once an unbeliever myself, thought myself a believer deluded by the desire to sin. No different than the delusion of those who would call themselves a “good person”, but knew within wasn’t good by the standard of righteousness every soul is convicted of. I was too arrogant to think of myself as someone broken by a fault not my own. Evil would have my unbelief believe that there was no such thing as a faith that can give confidence at the judgement seat of Christ; that I can continue in a sin hidden to the naked eye, and not reap the punishment. Do not mistake the warning of Hell as a threat, but recognize the warning as an authority given to Christ Jesus. The image of God is the Spirit of Jesus Christ in the believer. Jesus Christ was resurrected by God with a new body, not the body that was slain on the cross. A Body that is a Spirit living in every believer, and that Spirit is transforming the body of a believer into a Body of the image of God. And so just as the Spirit of God in the flesh of His Son, Jesus was sacrificed for those who will believe; so to now is the body of believers being sacrificed by the preaching of the gospel as a reflection of the only true sacrifice for the salvation of a believing soul. Now is the time to believe, unbeliever. The grace and mercy of God are here at this time to be received through Christ the Lord, Jesus.

Preaching from Heaven

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Soon the season will change and with it its’ colors. As the weather turns cold, the leaves of the trees fall to the ground with a message from heaven. One leaf says, “This is what it’s like to fly.” How can this leaf bring a message of flying having never flown? The leaf says, “If you knew the tree of which I fell, you would know what it’s like to fly.” There are many trees and leaves and every leaf comes from one tree. Of all the trees and leaves, why is it that this leaf seems to know what it’s like to fly and not the others? The leaf says, “Because those leaves came from only trees of which know what it’s like to fall.

The Revelation of Eve

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Last Segment-6

18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have;

Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the [b]world.”

 (Romans 10:17)

A revelation occurred when the wife of the man took the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. There was no convincing the woman otherwise, it was either believe the deception of the serpent or remain in perfect harmony with God. That deception is still occurring today…the words of that serpent are still in the ears of this world. People often question why a follower of Christ imposes their belief on this world, or are annoyed at the concern that someone is going to Hell. The reason for that concern is the revelation of Eve—a repercussion.

At the time of the first man and woman before their deception, everything existed in perfect harmony with God. But at their deception something just didn’t seem to add up. Because the consequence by their disobedience was to die. And they didn’t die but seemed to have…upgraded, “behold the man has become like one of Us knowing good and evil;…”. What? So…they become like God, or as…gods?

Hold up. Let’s go back one verse, verse 21 of Genesis 3. How did God make garments of skin for Adam and his wife Eve, to clothe them? Did something need to die? Reader, you and I both know that we are alive to eventually die, but what is death? Death is our flesh of sin that we live in. We inherited it from the skin of Adam and Eve. But this skin is different from flesh, it was given as a covering of grace, because we shouldn’t exist. We are not worthy to exist unless God is our reason for…Love. To love someone is to willingly die for them.

We inherited a seed of life from this death we live because of the Love of God. There is only one worthy to die that we might live, and that one, my dear reader, is the Son of God…Jesus! No one, nothing proves worthy of salvation for creation other than the innocence of God. That is the only way to transfer innocence. That an innocent one die for the guilty one. The sin of man and woman attempts to justify their wrong. Whereas love understands to tell the truth. The revelation of Eve is in her seed (Genesis 3:15). That seed, was the seed of God by way of the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus Christ is that seed born innocent by the virgin Mary. Because he was not born of the seed of Adam…which is to inherit sin.

God took the blame of our sin. Jesus remained silent when acused falsely, although innocent, He took the blame because it was decided by God before the beginning. That was the mystery. God decided how He would save us before we decided to break His command. That is the revelation of Eve—the revelation of creation is the innocent body and blood of Jesus, as the perfect Word of God for reconciliation to God. It is by grace through faith in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead by the power of God that a believer is saved. He is preparing a place for those that are saved, right now.

…the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven… (Colossians 1:23)

Juneteenth Freedom Day or Emancipation Day for Zero Tolerance

America,

You have no need to become educated by what this day represents. In celebration and concern to commemorate today, I write this post. Have you heard the news? Look and see! Slaves are free! Here you go, let it be!

It infuriates me to learn about such injustices of our history, prompting so many questions that quickly induce an emotional high on the subject. It’s ironic that today, in our news, we are faced with evolved injustices as result of those previous. An example is given by how we are treating people at the border of Mexico and the U.S. that prompts more questions evident by widespread uproar. I will not dishonor our president in obedient practice of what is learned through the teaching of the gospel, as every believer who fears the Lord would quickly remind themselves.

16 Act as free men, and [a]do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God. 17 Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the [b]king.

18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are [c]unreasonable.

1 Peter 2

Mr. President of the United States of America:

There is an abundance of information that proves indignant regarding the zero tolerance policy?

People of America:

There is a different way of conducting ourselves to provide a point of influence, but the war is not against our President or flesh and blood! That needs to be clear!

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against [a]flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Ephesians 6

The Mother Of All Living

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Segment-5

“…because she was the mother of all the living.” (Genesis 3:20)

I’ve experienced the pain of passing a kidney stone… It was excruciating! And, I’ve been told that, that it is the closest resemblance of pain a man can experience to a woman giving birth. Personally, I don’t think it compares—even though there is a sense of pride by having that relation.

After reviewing the previous segment, hope to have appropriately used the marital love scenery between man and woman (male and female) to describe the level of intimacy God has for His Wife (creation). That intimacy exemplifies to educate the soul about love and how that Spirit of Love is producing life to our vessels of flesh. You should be able to see how a Father and Mother (God) breathed genesis into the first human being. We are all made in the image and likeness of God (man and woman, male and female). The art of a man and woman features the mind, heart, and nature (Personality) of God as Love living in everything to apply reason, purpose, and practicality. I believe this to be so important to understand as this world has been twisted into a falsity. There is a purely innocent act of pleasure to procreate, but has, and is…become more and more perverted with unnatural desires for release to an addiction. Our tool of technology is dangerous, but useful with the right skill. An ability to provide a plethora of information that connects each of us to one simple understanding… We’re addicted. Addicted to sin. But the skill manipulating the tool of technology is more importantly resolved by rejoicing—in the providence of God. Take biology as an example (use google to research biology).  There are several branches to the tree of biology, but I’ve become fixated on the cell. Research, ‘What is a cell‘ and find out how cells “…are the building blocks for all living things”. In the process of my learning more about the cell find a peculiar theme that dominates the study: conversion. What happens to a person who smokes? Their lungs convert to tar. Those cells are revealing information that relay a message, “This is not natural. You! Are! Going! Tooo! DIE…”. Cells seem to be the “tattletales” of your body’s condition, reporting the news whether heathy or unhealthy of and for your survival. Cells also describe your personality. By this, I see, the providence of God. Can you see the reason why life is conscious? How not only that we’re aware of being alive, but how we can relate to God and God relate to us? Can you see the reason we can understand right from wrong? We’re not limited by the ground of which we were made, but limited by the grace through faith in Whom we believe converts us—conversion. The power of God.

Is it difficult, or possibly scary, for you to be…subjectively objective…of an eternity not your own—living in the mind of God for the purpose of God as a child of God? And is it scary because your not in control of God, or…is it that, you are not the judge of your own reality? Time in the Word of God, is time with Jesus in the Kingdom of God… You begin to learn the environment of eternality! An evil nature is lived as rejecting the truth of our purpose; which is described as denying a relationship with God by choosing our own (sin) nature verses subjecting ourselves to our original nature (before sin); meaning that we are a conflicted nature in need of restoration due to inheriting condemnation at the beginning. That condemnation is by deception, but reconciliation is by revelation of conception (conceiving the Word of God)—the Spirit of the living God is then being produced in the believing soul as a baby waiting to be born. (Just as the Spirit of God hovered over His creation {the virgin Mary} to conceive Jesus, the Child of God—so too, do we Christians, conceive the Word of God {Jesus} to live reflecting the testimony of Truth and Love so that you might believe and have everlasting life)

20 Now the man called his wife’s name [h]Eve, because she was the mother of all the living. (Genesis 3)

Why did the man name his wife, Eve, and why “was” she the mother of all the living. Can you see the truth within our nature and reason to believe? (God is revealing the Character of Himself, *Himself*, meaning a perfect relationship between a male and female God, no different that a woman taking on the last name of her husband). So a Holy Invisible God is nurturing us into a life of understanding. Understanding the eternal nature of God by enlightenment of revelation through inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God. If you are choosing to deny that understanding… Why?

Women, what do you think the man meant by exclaiming “…bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”, and what do you think happened after that marriage ceremony? I think any man would say… sex. I mean…that’s what I’d be saying anyway, without meaning it perverted. Here are two adult created beings that I believe God is using to reveal the level of intimacy God has with us. A person who is “single” should be experiencing a much more in-depth level of intimacy with God because, there are no distractions and or stains polluted by this world’s view of marriage; it’s completely meditative and expressed by devotion in serving God (however that looks, I’ll ask a person that decided to be single and completely devoted in serving God – stay tuned).

24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2)

In light of the described marriage verses above, I see that the first man had matured to be ready for a family, a…Son. My train of thought takes me to a place—after this love scene—where I can envision the wife as being pregnant, but remember, the picture or imagery of this husband and wife is—God and Creation. In other words, God (Man) is the very seed implanted into a perfect Creation (Woman); that is the painting—as God is the artist—of what I see. The orgasm could be the reason for discovering the “Big Bang”! Just saying. But anyway, the material of what we see and experience is revealed as a child or children being born. Jesus Christ is that child of God, invisible, but alive, at the right hand of His Father. That is a reason for these verses below, I think…

15 [w]He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For [x]by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He [y]is before all things, and in Him all things [z]hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For [aa]it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the [ab]fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in [ac]heaven.

21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— 23 if indeed you continue in [ad]the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, [ae]was made a [af]minister. (Colossians 1)

Why was she called, Woman?

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Segment-3

22 The Lord God [t]fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said,

“This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
[u]She shall be called [v]Woman,
Because [w]she was taken out of [x]Man.”

(Genesis 2)

In the providence of God, I understand the—woman for man—to mean something beyond the mechanical act of reproduction (be fruitful and multiply). Because, why not just continue to make men as suitable helpers for maintaining the garden? And the simple truth, I believe, is… Love. Is not the personality and nature of God defined as Love? But, with that understanding… I also see an appropriation for the order and governance of that nature, because of—what is evil; meaning that every aspect of creation (until the enacted fruition of Lucifer) was in perfect harmony with God. But what happens in the event any part of creation attempts to become apart from the Creator—what becomes the nature of that ‘part’ of creation? Or… If any created *being* attempts to be as god apart from the true God, then… What becomes the nature of that god? Because there is only One True God that is defined as Holy, Good, Truth and Love. A nature apart from that God, is evil!

So, is it not appropriate for there to be … set consequences, a course that leads to Hell for that which is evil? Of which is automatically entrusted and determined by the True God? (Because believe me, I’d rather it be me condemned not to believe for the sake of every other person to believe and be saved). But that reasoning is a result of what God has done and is doing in me because of believing in His Word as transforming my character into the likeness and image of Jesus. Not because I’ve attained righteousness. But because of an actual relationship with an eternal God through time with His Son (Word of God), it may sound crazy, but Jesus is teaching me about the meaning of what is true.

What had happened in the heavens before that imperfect occurrence on Earth? An evil influence (desires) manifested from the hearts of angelic beings that are now imprisoned until the time of the end. But at the beginning there was only… Harmony. The pure and holy form of intimacy between God and Creation, Man and Woman, Groom (Christ) and Bride that produces the light [or experience] of life in perfect harmony with God as Love. Do we as finite beings assume God is not love and alone because we refuse to see and not believe the ordination of God by the nature of our imperfections? How else is creation going to understand the process of its making if not by the revelation of Jesus? I mean, come-on! How are babies made? So then how does creation exist? The reason she was called “Woman”, I believe, for three reasons:

∞ Wisdom

∞ Love

∞ Life

Which, I think, these three combined produces an enlightenment to an intimate relationship with God. A woman is the answer to how our universe is expanding. The answer to every phenomenon and anomaly. The very Person of God functions as a marriage. An invisible God is manifested through the nature of creation (be fruitful and multiply). In more words… God is the nature of a perfect man and woman multiplying/producing the creation of everything. An invisible Spirit (seed) planted in the womb of Creation. And, it is by that nature of love, we exist! But this is only revealed by the name of Jesus because God calls Him, Son…

The Woman Deceived

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Segment-2:

That question gets interesting for me (Refer to Segment-1), because of a statement at the end of the second chapter of Genesis that raises concern by my lack of understanding,

24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2)

So… Me, Nathan, a man—has left his father and his mother, and is joined to his wife (Laura). But, who did Adam leave? …

Move into chapter 3, and see…when the woman is deceived to perceive—wow-eeeee—the serpents vision. Because it gets real! I…mean…more real, than life or death! Death has nothing on what we are about to witness here in the deception account of the wife of Adam, whom—after God condemns’—name’s her, Eve (because she was the mother of all the living).

Remember, all that God made, He saw to be good. So everything the man and woman saw, they saw and knew to be good as well, there was no reason to believe otherwise. Now then, how did this test, or…questionable form of communication occur in a serpents mouth to manipulate the command of God into a lie? This is how anyone following after Jesus Christ is equipped to identify between the illusion of something true and truth itself; that is, the natureof the object. This crafty serpent beast had no business being in the very good garden of God and Man… In the form of what man and woman saw to be good, this serpent uses the very tongue of it’s vessel created by God to speak words even remotely around God’s command? That command was already set in motion (without negotiation)! However, Satan disguises himself (illuming) in the very form of light, although, his nature… Is dark! So then, how?

How could my wife (Laura) know this dark nature without having the fruit from the tree that obviously points out something we don’t have, knowledge of good and evil? How could she discern the nature of that crafty serpent? Am I, being her husband, responsible? Do I tell her, “Welp, tough love honey, you dea..!” So again…

What, do, I, do?

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the [a]saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3)

The Woman

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Segment-1:

If you’re not familiar with the Adam and Eve story of the Bible, well, after this, you will be—because that is where the ‘first love‘ revelation occurs. Whether married or not, this will enlighten us about that phenomenon. Why are we emotional beings? Why not just, straight, data beings? You know, that—compute and respond accordingly, unconscious of God and those consequences pertaining to right or wrong, yet…conscious of the pleasure that comes with being alive, capable of doing the task programmed to do without fail. Isn’t that what a computer is and does?

When the first woman of man was tested and deceived, Adam, the first man of God was with her when it all went down. Now, there are plenty of ways to speculate what is emotionally occurring inside of these two beings, but—here’s the thing… We are still experiencing what occurred at the time of Adam and Eve’s knowledge of good and evil. Which, …is a solid reason to believe the words inside the Bible are inspired by God. Anyway, being a husband myself—a fleshly replica (descendant) of Adam—believe, would not have desired my wife to die apart from me, and especially, alone. Because… I love my wife! So then what do I do if my wife presents me with a choice she already made, between a command of God or love for my wife? What, do I do?

Checkout this Woman

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Check her out! This is the most delicate yet powerful piece of information I could write about. I received a revelation about myself upon exploring the event of the woman eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And, a question occurred to me, what if there are others who need to experience this revelation as God would have it apply to them? Now, unfortunately, we live in a society that operates around convenience—so, needless to say, this revelation (writing) will be broken up into segments. I know what your thinking… “What woman?” Good question. Eve is the woman. But my exclamation is to God regarding my wife. No, I’m not telling you to checkout my wife, don’t twist my words. It is an expression of amazement to how I’ve been blessed at the appearing of my woman! I’ll see you at the next post and first segment of “The Woman” series.

Evaluating Faith

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

It will be short and to the point. A step into the ring of biblical hermeneutics coupled with conversation about a choice Adam had at the moment his wife presented him the forbidden fruit has me beat down against the fight to understand interpretation. I had left my first love. I was beside myself, alone…

and you have [a]perseverance and have endured for My name’s sake, and have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the [b]deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent. (Revelation 2)

The First – Part 2

Before getting to the scene of Man’s astonishing Woman. Something extraordinary came to mind from someone very dear to me that I’d like to share with those who will also appreciate this perception with a touch of mine. In your mind’s eye put yourself at the scene of Adam being sculpted, formed from the soil of the ground into flesh and bone by our Creator, not yet placed in the garden of Eden.

Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living [f]being. (Genesis 2)

Can you see this figure of a God Man bent over toward the ground, shaping a Being…that would form His likeness, made in His image?

27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1)

In this vision imagine the God Man as the pre-incarnate Jesus. The same Jesus that the Apostle John testified about as the Word of God, at the beginning—the beginning of Creation. So the same Jesus that sculpted Adam, is the same Jesus that visited Abraham in the book of Genesis 18, also the same Jesus wrestling with Jacob in Genesis 32:24-32. Now tell me that isn’t awesome!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John‬ ‭1:1-5)‬

The First

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

The first Adam (man) is where our origin began, the birth of the Human Race. Where, God—from my perspective—breathed life into the soul of an infant-man-being. Conscious of his existence and relationship to the one Whom provided his beginning, made from the soil of the Earth, conceived as a seed (cell) to be planted—having a Father and Mother invisible to the naked eye, but always around and aware for the necessary care. Everything was seen as good, until…

“…”It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him.”” –Book of Genesis 2:18: As Parents would know—the time came for him to {man}age; entrusting the state of what is created to his capable hands, giving him the responsibility of naming things (creatures) not yet determine. All of which did not qualify as suitable for his helper, until…{Woman}!

21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The Lord God [t]fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. (Genesis)

Oracles of God

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Prayer is a place to go to empty the soul.  Where darkness is not judged by the light; condemned, to Hell.  But is a place to become invisible with God; completely vulnerable, as a child, broken before their parent, trusting it’s going to be okay when reasoning the pain away.  Sometimes the process to mend what was broken…is more painful than when the break itself occurred.  The experience is…  Difficult to bear.  But out of that pain produces character.  Now what of the pain of the Parent/s?  …Having to operate on their broken child screaming and lashing out “IT HURTS” because of the unexpected consequence.  That pain, brings a unique revelation.  God is mending to fix my spiritual brokenness…as my parent.  When I close my eyes to enter the closet of my soul and the darkness of my life closes in around me…  There comes a LIGHT!  That LIGHT reflects the glory of a transformed nature.  A new creation!  The light is operating on me through conviction.  The experience feels like Hell (whatever that place feels like) but just like a child would trust their parent to fix what is broken.  I trust this spiritual process for the sake of my salvation.  Emotions flood the system that produce questions compacted with surrender.  Exclaiming in anguish:

I DON’T GET IT!!!  I DON’T!!  I DON’T UNDERSTAND!!!  I’M ANGRY!  IM SO ANGRY!!!  IS THIS WHAT LIFE IS!?  WHY WAS I ABUSED!?  WHY WAS I ABANDONED!?  WHY WASN’T I TAUGHT!?  WHY WASN’T THIS EXPLAINED!?  WHERE WAS MY CHOICE!?  MY PROTECTION!? WHAT IS THE POINT!?  I DON’T UNDERSTAND!?  YOU PROMISED!!!  YOU PROMISED!!!  YOU ARE AN ETERNAL GOD AND MY FATHER!  YOU KNEW MY LIFE BEFORE I KNEW MYSELF!  WHAT IS THE REASON FOR THIS PAIN!?  WHAT HAVE I DONE!?  WHAT DID I DO!?  AM I THE DEVIL!?  FORGIVE ME?  PLEASE! WILL YOU FORGIVE ME?  HELP ME!

Ben’s photo so beautifully depicts a difference between the darkness that compliments the light and the darkness on the cabin by the light.  The darkness on the cabin reflect my broken soul.  The light within the cabin is the work of God that has transformed my soul into a spirit that cries out “DAD”!  A evidential condition to every soul claiming Jesus for salvation.  So the experience of our broken lives are not without meaning.  In fact, the meaning for me is this…  Every decision I’ve made right or wrong is consequential.  Coming to the end of myself is the beginning of my existence.  Everything about who I am was nailed to the Only Son of God on His cross.  God is the Heavenly Father of Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the Son of God that bore my sinful flesh to the point of His cross.  Jesus obediently accepted to receive the consequence of my sin that should have killed me to Hell.  But not just killed me…  all the world!  Because none is capable of enduring a consequence of that magnitude other than God Himself in Christ Jesus!

Death is the result of sin but not everyone will die because of their Life received by acknowledging Jesus as their reason of and for salvation.  Because no one will be saved by any other name than His.  And, the only way of truly knowing that, is by conviction through the Holy Spirit that seals our fate.  Faith is the evidence of an invisible God at work in the life of a believer.  The evidence is judged by the fruit of our lives  The Holy Spirit of God is our Eternal Law Informant; letting us know we are dying for a reason; and with that understanding, teaching us how to conduct ourselves as a people saved by grace through faith.  God related to us by sending His only Son for our example to follow what pleases Him as our Father.  He was killed by sin at the beginning.  My God and Father knew it would cost the life of His only innocent Son to redeem a guilty one.

I hope that is making sense.  If not I pray you reason with me by going into a secluded place to pray.  And, before you move the tongue of your mind; address God in the Name of Jesus; then communicate about who you are; what’ been done to you and what you’ve done.  Listen with anticipation for His voice…  I promise, He does answer.

Sooo…  There is a man I know who reasoned with God for an example.  He reasoned with God for sake of a city much like the world is today.  I pray the reader will reason with God for the sake of their soul for salvation.  In Jesus Name…  Amen.

“And the LORD said, “The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. Abraham came near and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” So the LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account.” And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes. Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the whole city because of five?” And He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” He spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose forty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it on account of the forty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak; suppose thirty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord; suppose twenty are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the twenty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.” As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the LORD departed, and Abraham returned to his place.”
~ ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭18:20-33

The First and Last, Legacy

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Thankfully, we live to learn what knowledge is all about—leaving a legacy. Do you realize that you are a living legacy? Everything about you is significant and powerful! All of what you’re presently learning, doing and or saying, is a production: I think virtue. Why? Because of our origin—how we were made since the beginning of time. Where . . .  ‘leaving a legacy’ started.

18 And He said to them, I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. ~ Luke 10

—Jesus Christ (The Son of God)

That’s a bold statement, ‘…started.’ Doesn’t that claim to know a truth not known by all, our existence without having actually witnessed it? Especially being. . .this is written May of 2018! Some may think it’s spit-balling ancient old text, others—may presume delirium. But there is a reason to the mystery of our beginning only few understood for us to learn today. The teaching is in the Spirit of their writing. What they witnessed and died to tell us about! Unless you believe that, will not understand the first and last legacy.

45 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. ~ 1 Corinthians 15

—Paul (Apostle of Jesus Christ)

Parallel Legacy

44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. (1 Corinthians 15)

What is hidden within the veil of my inheritance?  There is a very small percentage of “Cherokee” Indian in my blood through my great grandpa, dad’ side.  But what does this knowledge of my history prove?  I’ve “sparked” a dialogue with God in hope to discover an answer…

It’s quite Interesting!  The answer I found…  Because it involves; every, living, soul.  The answer is a “parallel legacy”.  In one direction of my history, I’m left with confusion; but in the other, enlightenment and purpose.  I needed a relatable source verses reliable.  So here I am now, “beside myself”.  On a quest to discover the truths of my beginning.

There are a lot of opinionated truths about my inheritance.  So in taking the time to be “beside myself” received this revelation.  From the previous post I said, “…will require some action from you.”.  The “action”, is a psychological one that requires an intentional pursuit of faith.  Meaning that I had to separate myself from the “here and now” of my reality; prayer is the essential; but a meditative attention directed at God for a response is the equivalent (if you struggle with the “religious” terms).  Inspect the “fruit”.  Seriously take time to think and seek understanding from the “when” of your existence.  As you do this…  Ask for the truth about the scene at the beginning in the garden of Eden.

Lord willing.  Meet you in the next post…

About 30 Years of Age

23 When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age,…” Luke 3

Reaching the world

Do you enjoy parallels?  I very much enjoy parallels.  And I have one I’d like to share but will require some action from you.  Even if you don’t care for “parallels”… I’m confident this will be fascinating!  Are you familiar with the fruit of an orange?

Fruit

This fruit looks good and ready to eat, appealing to the eyes, expecting to provide nourishment.  Because we’re knowledgeable “beings” can immediately identify the fruit in the image above.  How long do you think I have before taking the first bite?  Not long at all; a moment to decide, but seconds before… The “bite”.  In a conversation with myself, it is not difficult to reject a fruit that is “forbidden”.

However, if that same fruit came from the hand of my wife.  That changes everything.  I trust my wife to give me good fruit.  And, I’m all the more convinced that the fruit is good when she is sharing it from her hand.  But what if my wife received the fruit based on a lie?  What if the transaction for this fruit was accomplished by an evil agenda to get her husband’s life insurance?  Or, too… Betray him with “wealth”, “wisdom”, and “power” by involving him on the “deal” that she previously made?

The Frontiers of Salvation

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

As I peer out into the distance of a stretch of land and gaze upon a fence.  What does that fence mean?  Why is it there?  To what purpose?  Every reader (myself included) has a fence depicted as the one in the photo but unseen by the naked eyes.  This is the last post of what would be themed conceptually as, “A Reader’s Spiritual Threshold”.

In walking the line of every fence encountered by my life (spiritually speaking); there comes a threshold, an entrance point (sill to a gate, door, opening) into the mysterious piece of land yet to be walked upon by my feet.  To read this post is permitting these words to walk inside your mind as though invited.  To do this without first being permitted is breaching the threshold of your conscience. — {Consider: Lucifer disguised himself in the form of a serpent as part of God’s creation on earth to approach the woman with a message, yet… Gabriel also a part of God’s creation in divine appearance approached Mary with a message.  Which message was of God?} — But if permitted, then to convey a message of enlightenment (truth) to your soul.  The choice of whether to receive these words as true is determined by your discernment of my spirit.  Just as fore mentioned in the previous two posts that “you’ve been breached with a lie“.  Also.  You’ve been approached with the truth.

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3)

I have not received permission to step inside your mind.  Yet here we are writing and reading.  Something like a psychological dialogue; beside the point.  Permission is granted through the course of Jesus’ life here on this earth in the flesh.  Those saved are given a seal of the Holy Spirit that renews and transforms our character from glory to glory.  And, as no different than a complete stranger interjecting themselves in the course of your life for an unknown cause (other than anxiety) to interrupt, so too am I with these writings.  But with a message that will preserve your soul for eternity with Jesus Christ.  Not to violate you with a lie.  Where the violation comes is words used to influence your character… to my advantage for a self righteous arrogant agenda, “Look at my production”.  I could say that my “key” interest is finding out whether you’ve received salvation for an eternal life in Christ the Savior.  But how would you believe that unless first acknowledging a necessity for salvation?  That convincing will not come by me, but you… God gives the increase.  The testimony about Jesus is real and true because no being is capable of such a story other than God Himself.  I’m a sinner saved by grace.  I will not violate my readers by finagling words that fit my agenda or please my prideful perverted desires.  Although… How pleasing it must seem, to be known as an icon.  Leaving the mark “unforgotten” in the course of time.  Always remembered, admired, and praised to the glory of myself.  My name written in the history books as someone significant, perceived as the “genius who invented freedom” or the “one to establish the ‘cure’ from death”.  Just as fore mentioned, “you’re being violated right now” by your own perverted agenda to what supposedly will accomplish a well lived life.

I used the title in the previous post for attempt at a psychological affect, intrigue interest “What?!  What does that mean?”.  I was “fishing for a catch” but without bait.  That doesn’t mean my strategy worked… Yet!  But just means that was my intention.  I look around and see privilege; listen and hear memories past.  Our relational intimacy with God is fainting.  I’m driven to inspire out of that death mentality.  So to halt the train of thought from a busyness of life needed something that would bring about a question.  Something that even Moses would turn aside to checkout something AWESOME!  Every breath we breathe is ordained.  The Word of God is the seed of life in our breath, “I’m alive!”.  You and I are met by that resuscitation of God.  The fact we are breathing together in this same atmosphere is a miracle.  Because how can something dead, be alive to breathe?  That is how I know we can relate to one another in the purest form of intimacy with God.  We are consciously aware of our existence and simultaneously exchanging chemical data in every breath received by God to give one to another.  That is what these posts are about and represent… data from the “black hole” of Nathan’s soul, renewed and transformed to transmit a message to you… Reader.  You’re loved by God.

Liminal at the Limen of Liminality

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

What!  “What does that mean?”.  Reader, I’m with you.  In the previous post the violation occurred through the mouth of a serpent that injected a seed of disease.  But you already knew that because of experiencing it day by day in some form or fashion.  This post!  However.  Will cause your train of thought to halt.  Because the realization hasn’t sunk in yet.  You’re being violated right now.  The eternal sensation of love with divine authority is fainting.

The human race has become so accustom to death that eternal life is Liminal.  Meaning that our sensation of being eternally alive is fainting.  We’ve forgotten our beginning; how we were made; our purpose.  Take a moment to breathe.  “Breathing”, is an action not limited by color, creed, or calculation; it is given and received by all Mankind.  We breathe together because of equality with God.  God breathes, we breathe.  The difference is production.  How does God breathe?

Reading this far, are you aware of how many breaths you’ve breathed (that is weird coming off the tongue)?  There is no emotion to express or words to explain the level of intimacy you have with God at this very moment.  I’ve asked myself whether God used words to speak my being into existence or is every breath breathed, without words.  But simply, received?  As the experience of a mutually agreed kiss to resuscitation… “I’m alive!?”.  Reader, are you alive?  Have you received the gift to breathe?

Inspire

Does divine inspiration cause concern or question?  Thinking to myself, “Wait. Am I… ‘God’?”.  Obviously not, but the principle of it.  Does not intimacy with God mean to become one with God?  Yet.  God is not a product of sin!  I’m not a product of sin!  So what does this mean?  Our diseased condition is a by-product of divine mal-practice by a spiritual being named Lucifer.  Is that agreed?  Is an eternal spirit judged by flesh?  I would say, “No.”.  My mind and flesh are a living condition that expresses two natures.

  1. Good
  2. Evil

Confessing the evil nature of my desires is the Limen of Liminality.  Meaning to cross a threshold into divine authority, from anonymity to belonging to a name above every name.  Having the knowledge of good and evil does not mean I possess “good” or “evil”.  The “will” to do “good” is present in me but not the possession of it.  In my mind I serve the law of God but my body is experiencing the law of sin; which is the result of a disobedient act that causes an experiential consequence; my inevitable death of this body.  However, this Liminality is where I’ve discovered rank with Jesus as my authoritative practice to master, the sin of my desires.  I was fooled to think that every breath I breathed was a form of debt, never to be paid; until the revelation of Jesus Christ.  Thank you Lord.  Peace be with you, Reader.  I love you.

15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1)

Breaching the Threshold

Perversion” from English to Hebrew is translated, ” סְטִיָה “.  Translate that same Hebrew word back to English with google translator and you’ll find, “Deviation“.  When I’ve deviated from the truth of my nature as God made me, becomes a disease.  Genesis 3 is where I found the reason for an inherent deviation in my nature; having a desire for perversion.  “Why-How”, I’d ask myself.  I mean, “I know that it’s wrong”.  It is so “attractive” to have a “secret” that connects me to this other person or to have knowledge by an experience no one else has.  In speaking with a brother just last night about this disease… confessed one to another certain thoughts and matters of the heart that if acted upon would cause destruction.  You’ve been breached with a lie. God in His mercy and amazing grace gave my brother a name to identify this disease.

When you look at this photo, what do you see?  It’s intense and deep, Right!  Well…

Remember Me

It’s me “breaking wind”, it smells real bad! (That’s how to identify this disease)  Ju…st kidding!  Really though.  Reader, whenever you look at your life and see what is spiritually wrong.  Will be given a choice in that moment of whether you’ll continue or listen.  Just as I wrote in the previous blog, “there is an escape”!  I pray you’ll believe me.  It is a moment by moment daily struggle and spiritual war that we face.  You are not alone.  There are innumerable thought patterns that flood our system with desired responses.  The art of a right response will begin and form within ourselves by aligning to the true nature of a Holy God.  This is why meditating on the Word of God is vital!  After having a blessed time with my brother in Christ last night, at Napoli’s Italian restaurant, am convinced that the Hebrew language is a spiritual one.  And, this western language of English is a worldly one.  When I close my eyes to examine myself, see what the nature of sin has cause me to know and understand.  And… it’s painful.  I’m broken.  But also see how I’m being restored through faithfully abiding in the Word of God with my brother’s, sister’s, mother’s and father’s… in Christ.

11 Prescribe and teach these things. 12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe. 13 Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was bestowed on you through prophetic utterance with the laying on of hands by the presbytery. 15 Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all. 16 Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. (1 Timothy 4)

Perversion breached the threshold of what God saw to be good.  All creation was initially created as good because God is good.  A spiritually evil agenda manifested through the tongue of a serpent.  How can what was evil breach that which is good?  The answer I’ve discovered is, “choice”.  Although I myself am governed to live with the choices I’ve made did not choose to have this life.  It was given by nature of design.  Recognizing this has saved me from death, to commit suicide.  Yah.. I’ve thought of myself being taller with muscles to spare and intellect not compared, but to what gain?  I’m thankful to have life born in Eternity with God than a life breached by a threshold to sin.  Confess yourself to God.  I love you.

I see you, you see Me

Chemistry

“Whoa!”.  “What is this, I feel!?”.  “I didn’t like you, but now… It’s real!”.  “What is this… Chemistry?  ‘It’s foreign.'”.  “Where did it come from?”.  “I see you, you see me.”.  “Our mouths are not moving, but the truth ‘speaks’.”.  “I’m convicted, ‘flee!’.”.  “But the passion of my heart burns to see!”. “Who says ‘no’ to this ecstasy?”.  “So where is my ‘angle’?”.  “When is the time and how will I know?”.  “This ‘taste’, to be liked.”.  “I’m sought to be known!”.  “The venom is piercing from vein to bone!”.  “I’m losing control!”.  “Help me, God!”.  “There’s nowhere to go!”.

Profile

Adolescence, doesn’t seem to fit the profile of it’ definition.  There is a period between puberty into maturity, but at what age is the point of maturity?  Although I didn’t reach puberty until a junior in high school.  I was educated by design that procreation was pleasure.  I was not educated about the spiritual meaning.  Marriage is a covenant.  The pleasures of this life are fleeting.  So I occupied myself with mischievous thoughts and fantasies of malpractice.  I think our adolescent profiles need to change, or rather, become educated about the spiritual aspect to our adolescence.  Reader, I’ll need your help if you agree.  If we had been educated about the spiritual aspect of our changing nature and desire during youth could have prevented a series of mistakes that effect everything.  But without you, Reader.  Can a spec of dust effect the vast universe of particles?  After all, that is all of what I am.  A spec of dust; vapor in the wind (if you will), amidst the cosmic order of creation.  So the purpose to influence a person or society with change is next to hitting the lottery, in comparison.  What is the protocol for telling people about their salvation by way of Jesus Christ sending the Holy Spirit into their life?  The “instruction manual” (Bible) for this procedure is very difficult to understand without someone to teach me the truth about my nature and desires.  I’ll need help.

Scenario

Have you ever been unexpectedly forgiven, loved and cherished after confessing certain truths about mistakes that were made?  Knowing already, that the answer to your own question is “undeserving of forgiveness and justifiably deemed unworthy of deliverance from whatever the consequence”?  I have been unexpectedly forgiven.  Reader, my prayer is that you’ll know for yourself, “…have mercy on me, a sinner.”.  My saint of a grandmother forgave me from what I deserved.  Why?  I didn’t deserve a place in her life.  She had every right to send me on my way.  But, she gave me life.  It has been difficult for me to make sense of this.  I’d taken advantage of her gift to care; shelter over my head, clothes on my back, food in my belly, and water to quench the flame.  I “snuck” a lesbian[?] stripper into her home.  And that is but one scenario among others to my shame.  In the processes of my weaknesses; God granted me mercy, forgiveness, and is still healing me to His glory.  I pray this post finds you in your struggle as not only telling you “I can relate”, but that Jesus related beyond relation to the extent of dying… experiencing this place of death although innocent.  Sin is not worth the troubled whispers of lies that only prove a fearful expectation.  There is an expected award for obedience which also means an expected consequence for disobedience.  No different than our prisons in this life, am confident of a prison in the next.  The church is the devils playground; salvation is the game, and vulnerability, his poise.  I see more and more teachers, leaders, and preachers pressed to the limit of their heart’ desires and pride as “untouched by sin because of grace”.  My spirit aches and mourns because of unconfessed sins.  People that fear their own reputation instead of God.

Secretary

Will the King of a palace say to his trusted counsel, -“Help!  My ‘eye’ is on a woman that is not the Queen”-.  And will the counsel dare reply the King, -“We will pluck that woman out, my King! It is a sin against God; turn from it, and be healed.”-.  Now with the Spirit of God, the Secretary perceived the King’s desire and said to herself, -“God, how should I move, or should I? The King’s eye is upon me. What of my husband? ‘Would he listen or be willing to understand?’. And… what of our family?”-.  This Secretary is the “breadwinner” of her family and the husband a stay at home dad.  This King is good looking and could position this Secretary as Queen.  The Queen says, -“God, my God, thank you for leaving Your palace for the sake of my salvation. Please teach me how You are to be honored in my marriage and position to this throne. Give my Husband the wisdom to lead as You have served.”.  The palace of this kingdom has been compromised by lust but each character has a decision to be made.  Every character is at risk of having to sacrifice something; reputation (eye), life, wealth, and love.

Help

Reader, you are reading this post for a reason.  I’m thankful for the relationship we can have even in this connection of “words on screen”.  I’ve underestimated the power of escape that God provides through knowing His Son by way of the Holy Spirit.  There is always an escape from the desire of sinful practice luring beneath the surface of our skin.  There is a consequential experience (awakening) to a reality that was left covered for a reason.  The mystery to life beyond the grave is real.  My conscience has been torn and ripped apart too many times to sit around for a “well spoken of” reputation that remains enslaved to evil devices common to man.  There is an escape!  Because my God says so!

River Course to Recovery

Re:generation

Monday’s are when Laura and I meet at Watermark only to be separated by a program that takes us on a journey to recovery from struggles (or spiritual diseases that eat away at our psyche).  To name a few:

  • Abused (Physically/Verbally/Emotionally/Sexually)
  • Abortion
  • Acceptance/ fear of rejection
  • Anger/Rage/Escalation
  • Anxiety
  • Body image
  • Cheating
  • Critical Spirit/Complaining
  • Debt
  • Defined by my past
  • Divorce/Separation
  • Drugs/Substance Abuse/Pills
  • Drunkenness
  • Emotional dependency
  • Evil thoughts/actions
  • Fear
  • Greed/Selfishness/Love of Money
  • Insecurity
  • Isolation/Withdraw
  • Lust
  • Lying/Deceit/Dishonesty
  • Masturbation
  • Pride/Self Righteousness
  • Sexual immorality/fornication
  • Stress
  • Unforgiveness
  • Voyeurism
  • Worry

The list is much longer, alarming, and questioning, but stem from three main roots identifiable here.  The program is a heavy load to bear, but worth it.  I’ll assure you.  The step group of men I’ve been assigned with have just completed the “3rd Step” heading into “Inventory” (4th Step) to a 12 Step—year long process for understanding, healing, and change.  Inventory is where I’ll be enduring the “max” weight of the process, with my band of brothers to “spot” the weight.  This is the equivalent of what it takes to be a Navy Seal but from a spiritual perspective.  The determination that qualifies my recovery is entirely between me and the Holy Spirit of God.  Will I qualify?

Spiritual Warfare

warfareRaised attending church and later even considered a PK (Preacher’s kid); having been sexually molested and abused as a child; medicated the majority of my life for ADD/ADHD (Ritalin, Strattera, Adderall, and Vyvanse); devastated by my parents divorce, depressed and confused; addicted to pornography; emotionally and physically manipulated and abused; exposed to and experienced sexual misconduct and immorality; disowned family while abandoned by family; experienced drugs and transported; the hypocrite of hypocrites; liar and deceiver, hiding my pain with the guilt of others shame; holes in my doors and walls, angry at everything; dead to the world with literal broken bones, hydrocodone, and time to kill; finally, the truth is but a question still, “Am I Forgiven?”.  I’ve said to myself over and over again, “‘But’ this.  And, ‘but’ that.”.  In response to not understanding or trusting that I’m truly loved by God.  So for me to accept a truth that such evil could be forgiven, was intolerable, “It can’t be!  Impossible!  How?”.  I’d make the claim, “My sexual reproductive system ‘justifies’ the act of my ‘second glance’ that deems me guilty of committing adultery according to the preacher’s preaching.”.  Then I must be already on a river course to Hell.  Why would this life permit such evil “freedoms” in respect of (not getting caught) governmental laws and city ordinances that would convict me otherwise, if not to subtly and discreetly enjoy?  So, my flesh would say in its sin, “What happens in this life ‘stays’ in this life.”, after all, “It’s forgiven.”.  Reader, do you hear that pride?  According to biblical standards; offering up my blood as payment for a place in the Kingdom of God will not suffice for a Holy God and will have to (justifiably) come to a verdict, “guilty of sin”.  I am incapable of bearing the weight of my sin and no amount of money will free me from the truth within the “needle” (death penalty) that awaits me.  Have I been abandoned by God?

Qualified

Around the age of 16 I’d disowned my dad (Jim Dooley) and denounced him to the “biological father” status with an agenda to prove the point.  When my dad would approach me with open arms for a hug, I’d refuse; or again with a hand shake, in public, still refuse.  On my graduation day in front of all my fellow classmates and peers had my name called out as my step-dad’s last name, “Powell”.  To make it clear with my legal name change that I would have nothing to do with Jim.  It wasn’t until I was so broken (literally) alone in my home, finding a letter from my dad that wrote “I love you” all over the face of it and inside, the desired expression to have a “relationship again”.  When I had first received this card, I’d thrown it aside thinking it not to be found ever again… Until.  There is a part of the story with powerful significance to this letter that will have to come in a later post.  Amidst the lies of the enemy that would cloud my judgment and ability to discern right from wrong realized I had the ability to forgive Jim.  It had nothing to do with anything my dad had done wrong.  Only the fact that I had the power to forgive.  Get this!  Even having the knowledge of all that has been done wrong in not only my life, but my family’s, left me in a position to choose the next step.  Will I forgive it all?  All that was presented and lain before you in my life above.  Have I forgiven it? And, am I forgiven?  I broke down sobbing with snot and tears when realizing that God was speaking to me in that letter, “I love you” — “I hope to have a relationship with you again”.  My lust, pride, and insecurities had me blind to the nature of God as my Father.  It was not until the “prodigal son” would call his dad asking the right to his last name again, “Dooley”, that I’d taken the step to become a prodigal son of my Heavenly Father.  The most difficult part about forgiveness is trusting its integrity.  It was only until yesterday that I’d decided to truly trust the Word of God without a “but” to deter my focus from that truth.  That faith in The Word of God, is how I’m qualified!

12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.
