As I prepare my spirit to encounter the heavens, I’m listening to Psalm 46 (Lord of Hosts) by Shane and Shane

You will lead us through the fiercest battle”

Bobbing my head just slightly ‘up’ and ‘down’ to the beat of the sound and rhythm of the music, it’s powerful and meditative. NOW GET READY, because I’m about to lead us to the Lord of Hosts, oh yah, let’s go.

…DON’T FORGET YOUR CUP OF JOE!

I’ve opened the Word of God—my Charles Ryrie Study Bible and present to you, scripture from 2nd Peter:

“Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;”

Peter was a fisherman called by Jesus to follow him… will you?

The above featured photo is of VidAngel "The CHOSEN" series episode 4, text is mine.

I want to emphasize //to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours//because the crucifixion of Peter is imminent and YET THE MAN WRITES this letter for us, those who’ve received

I mean, can you imagine awaiting a death penalty of crucifixion for your proclamation that JESUS CHRIST is indeed the SON OF GOD!

It’s a polytheistic mystery of a monotheistic God type of statement.

Nathan Dooley

Because human flesh cannot embody God, or so the devil may have thought, but guess what you fellow sinners transformed by the calling of God???

God embodied the man, Jesus, our Lord!

I hope you’re SITTIN DOWN or in a place to BE STILL because this, this here, is where you LEARN THE LANGUAGE of God… …and if you’re not???

Then you must not have music playing in the background as you read this, COME ON, experience the fire in your soul and BE MOVED!

When Jesus said:

17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

mark 1:17

Did you think He didn’t mean you as well???

Let me tell you what a fisher of men means to me. It means I become the fish you catch to eat because your souls need the spiritual sustenance of what only the Holy Spirit can provide! DON’T YOU GET THAT!!!!

That is what these apostles and all disciples DO for the sake of God’s desire:

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:4

COME ON — BE MOOVED!

Experience the desire of God for your soul to be saved by the truth of His only Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior of the WORLD! Experience the evidence of DESIRE that is pure, unadulterated, and perfectly HOLY!

Death is imminent, and you, READER, possess a soul made of the breath of God that lives with a choice… …HERE… and …NOW…

Let this post be an instrument to sever the umbilical cord of death by sin to life in Christ!

There are false teachers out there that would have you to continue in the sin you live in, chasing after the time and attention of the world, but NOT THIS GUY!

I would have you chase after God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength; then, after your neighbor as I chase after you! Let this post be your fish, for you to become a fish that feeds MANY!

!…A FISHER…OF MEN…!

Rich is easy, but are you wealthy?

This is about you, your time is valuable, no? …So let’s get to it!

Because our time, money, and energy are important to us for survival — this sales pitch will not come as a surprise to you when discovering the merch to reap the benefits of awesomeness… ideas that celebrate your cause… and products that bring value to your people… all at your disposal.

BUT THE VALUE WE OFFER, is to live instead of survive!

YES! THAT’S RIGHT. You heard me right…

THE VALUE TO LIVE INSTEAD OF SURVIVE.

The options of products at your disposal are not meant to take your money.

“NO?”

NOPE, NOT YOUR MONEY!!

And because you’re the product we care about!

The content in which you expect to see, read, and or anticipate from this point on will be the values you weigh to measure for increase in your productivity… real quick, AGAIN …your productivity!

which will ultimately add money to your bank account if you understand how to live by the following principles, keep reading.

The ideas in your head for profit will STRIKE the DRUMS of excitement and wet dreams!

BUT!

Hold on to your britches… because… truth is… getting rich is just the beginning.

Anyone can get rich!

The question is…

Are you prepared to get wealthy!?

It’s rare to be prepared for wealthY!

But let me show you how in THESE SIMPLE, BUT DIFFICULT steps.

  1. Stop depending on time to slow down or speed up.
  2. Stop relying on material to provide your value.
  3. Start learning how to be teachable.

It sounds kindergarten, but I assure you… it’s Phd!

It takes the average student 8.2 years to achieve that type of degree and they end up about the age of 33. I’ve graduated early!

Oh please, hold the applause, hol…OKAY, ALRIGHT, bring it in, go ahead… no no.

YOU are welcome!                          (that was a joke)

STOP DEPENDING

If you think about it, when is the last time you ever benefited from worrying about the time?

Okay besides expectant moments of always!

The point is, IT has the potential to cause disbelief in one’s abilities, hindering opportunities that should otherwise generate limitless access to freedom for soaring above the clouds!

But instead, what do we do?!

We worrry LIKE UH bunch UH stupids!

We somehow think it’s too late to change course or perception by the delusion of age; too young, too old, “ohhh(…sigh…)what it’d be like, to be a kid again”, or, “I’m already GROWN-up steewwpid mom and dad”…says the teen who apparently thinks experience comes without knowledge.

What an awakening it is when knowledge teaches the consequences of experience, unless… well… let’s just say… the fools capacity to survive is… “short lived”.

Or is it that YOU FEEL NOT GOOD enough to achieve your goals? BECAUSE… YOU ARE!

Perhaps it’s the full scope of the accomplishment? It feels too BURDENSOME, so you BUY into laziness. And WELL, that’s stupid!

Get YOUR MIND right! To do that you need to consult your heart… It’s possible that you’re feeling down because of the weight of busyness, which is a FEELING that your brain is interpreting as, “I ain’t doin shit!”.

Get YOUR HEART right! Remember why you’re motivated, and how people love you!

You can get it down a task at a time…

COME ON, LET’S GO!

STOP RELYING

I’m curious…

Do you think the EYES you have to SEE for reading the words on this page were given for… FREE?

Dare I say pity the blind, but have you considered closing your eyes to live your life? I mean, just TRY making it to your car without seeing.  JUST… don’t drive!

How about comprehension? What intelligence did it take to program this blog site and have words form to appear floating on a paper within a monitor of a computer, seeming to levitate although fixed in place as each l e t t e r is typed? It’s fascinating! YET… futile.

“What!? That’s bullshit!” …YOU say? WELL…

START LEARNING

As a human species BENT on pride near to BREAK by arrogance. The evolution of technology is revealing, and our ego is showing.

Eh Em…

Ace Ventura Jim Carrey GIF - AceVentura JimCarrey YourBallsAreShowing GIFs

But it’s not too late to stop and consider the energy of your soul and the eternal nature of existence to convert hate to LOVE, negative to positive, dark to light, death to LIFE, and evil… to GOOD!

The question remains…

Are you prepared to get wealthy? … And this is the most difficult step!

Answer that question honestly based on this PRINCIPLE, submission to authority.

“NO!”

Well GET used to it butter-cup!

Because even the most powerful people on the planet are under authority of some form of government.

Annnd… I’M NOT JUST TALKING MORTAL! BUT THE SPIRITUAL NATURE OF IMMORTALITY type of government!

That means it’s important to know WHO your subject to… because “bad company CORRUPTS good morals”! (A teacher taught me that!)

Make sure you are in right relationship to sovereignty. Or..!

IT will not go well for you!

“Why?”

Authority teaches us about WHERE we belong! And WHO we belong to.

It teaches you about the WHO you belong to, that yearning desire for something more, something greater, more amazing and fantastic!

Authority teaches you about what it means to be in relationship with a PERSON that values your soul!

SO IN CONCLUSION!

  • WE CARE ABOUT YOU
  • RICH IS EASY
  • WEALTHY IS CHARACTER
  • SALVATION IS REAL

To get wealthy means to be poor. To be poor means to get help. To get help means to be burdened. To be burdened means to be a sinner. To be a sinner means to get salvation. To get salvation means to get converted. To be converted means to get baptized. To get baptized means to be a believer. To be a believer means to carry your cross. To carry your cross means you’re prepared to get wealthy. That is why it is TIME FOR PROVIDENCE!

TO LIVE IS TO DIE AND TO DIE IS TO GAIN

“20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.” (Philippians 1:20-22)

I can see you.

You have something to say, but you remain quiet.

The “intellects” talk with assertive language that communicates’ no need for questions for appearance to have all the answers.

But I see you… I can feel your heart… I know you’re there. There is potential, a gift inside so ready to burst; the mouth opens, but no words proceed.

Are you this person?

Has no one taken the time to hear you? To really pay attention to how you feel, to what you think? … To what you understand?

Don’t fear! Don’t hold back! Let it go! Let it out! Speak!

Everyone is shut-up for the value of your words, but will they listen?

The “intellects”, oh the “intellects”, how they are quick to correct for knowledge but disregard the heart… thinking to know something while understanding nothing.

The heart full of emotion boils with anger for want… until the water converts to steam becoming the evaporated elements of a demon that possesses the soul of the unheard, disregarded, and unconfessed.

Oh they will listen, because you have the words that flow from the heart of God to illuminate the mind for understanding.

It’s time for you to be heard. Tell the world the testimony of your heart.

But… what if… ?

Oh the “intellect”, how it calculates uncertainty for fear of feeling the appropriate emotion to govern knowledge that is from the Lord our God that prays the same, “God our Father who art in Heaven hollowed be your Name…”!

Feelings have the capacity to change the course of logic… capable of subduing demons that do not have right over your mind… a power from on high.

Don’t fear their inability to discern the language of love that speaks with power to disclose the state of the mind which reveals the condition of the heart for appropriate change, a conversion that saves the soul by the seed of the Holy Spirit of God from the Word of the Lord—the Word of Truth—the Word of Life—[Jesus Christ].

Tell the world to stop moving, sit down, I have something to say; dominion is the order of my purpose, evil has no place here for the reason of love of which God our Father in Heaven is trustworthy and faithful; this love was displayed in His only Son who willingly died an excruciating death on a cross, murdered by godless men and women, this same Son that was preached from the mouths of men inspired by the love of God that all men would be saved and come to the knowledge of truth; we’ve all gone astray, we’ve all sinned…

1 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? 6 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” 7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. 11 Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor? 13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” 16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Emotional Logic Theory

As the heart of my spirit searches for the unsaved have suddenly made my tent in this theory. If you’re familiar with my work since the beginning will know the flux of change as though moving from place to place; salvational engineering to providential ministries, writing to videography—constant development, forgive me, it’s exhausting… I understand.

Let this post be a starting place of rest. I’m setting up camp to build on this theory because I’m convinced by it’s potential; it’s like finding the right place to mine because of a feeling based on a hunch, “There will be diamonds!”, perseverance is my tool of choice.

Hi, my name is Nathan Dooley. I am about to turn 32 years old April 24th, and love my amazing wife Laura Dooley of 5.5 years! I came to the conclusion in high school that education was pointless (no offense teachers) because of a hypothetical idea born from Christianity, “If sin is real then this form of education is useless. So what’s the point?” I knew I wanted a family with the right job, doing whatever would afford an endless supply of kids; haha, crazy, I know, but the confidence was in this unwavering ability to learn hands-on, thinking to myself, “Even if someone is unwilling to teach, I’ll always be willing to learn.” So my mind was made up, and my calling, born!

…I’mma dagum SUPERHERO!!!!

freekin AQUAMANs’ got nothing on me… Yah, you heard me Jason Momoa! Sup! Got summ’em say? My tats are better than yours. [“Don’t hurt me”]

But seriously, during my high school years felt called to ministry without the proper guidance… hence “Time For Providence”. Providence means:

My aim in life has been to solve its’ mystery because of “hidden” abuse… That took a turn, didn’t it. That abuse brought about questions that turned into logical walls built to keep God out. How can providence exist? I wasn’t protected from abuse, so what the heck! That’s bullshit! In my spiritual warfare, or as the world would come to the logical conclusion to diagnose as “schizo”, I was unknowingly learning the martial arts of emotional logic psychology or emotional logic theory (ELT).

Emotional Logic was developed in a healthcare setting during the late 1990s.  The method is now used in welfare settings, schools, inclusion units, parenting and youth support organisations, care support and for people with learning difficulties.

My theory is that emotion is superior to logic. Now the word “superior” carries this negative connotation like the plague of the coronavirus because it influences the mind to think that emotion holds a higher value than logic when that should not be the argument. My argument is that emotion is of higher rank than logic while both are equal in value, meaning that it is completely illogical for God to send His only Son to die on the cross and take away the sin of the world. Why not go about that in aaa… According to our logic… Different way than sacrifice and death? How does that make any sense!? BOOM!

In comes emotion to save my soul! So check this out! The death that Jesus died on the cross was never intended to be reasoned with by logic separate of emotion, nor understood without putting emotion in it’s proper place or rank. This is why I use the word superior to support this claim, because by definition (without emotional interpretation) it simply means responsible for logic per design. Let’s just start from the top:

  • God is responsible for creation.
  • Owner is responsible for material.
  • Death is responsible for sin.
  • Israel is responsible for Jesus.
  • Salvation is responsible for truth.
  • Life is responsible for eternity.
  • Officer is responsible for law.
  • Vengeance is responsible for justice.
  • Existence is responsible for presence.
  • Emotion is responsible for logic.

So as you can see, God loves you with two “E’s” because He’s presently willing to reason with you in your disagreements. But ultimately, the fullness of everything belongs to God as rightful owner, creator, and perfecter of all things. You might be asking what I meant by the two “E’s”, if you read the first letter of the ten bullet points above… You’ll see, “GOD IS LOVEE”. My entire argument hinges on that belief because of these verses.

1 John 4:7-21

“7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is loveBy this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us13 By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love19 We love, because He first loved us. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

My camp is set… I’ll build from here… I love you, my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Spiritual Promise | #1 | COVID-19

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. (1 John 2:12)

Do you think it a coincidence that toilet paper has a better understanding of this promise than the world in a panic over the coronavirus? I pray the hearts of those turning to God in this pandemic will truly consider the faith that accompanies such a promise, because toilet paper won’t save you. Don’t get me wrong, there is wisdom in the 5 “P’s”:

  • Prior. Planning. Prevents. Poor. Performance (Paper).

But if we slowed down as ‘one’ people to apply that ideology might actually save lives by considering the calculations and appropriate actions upon learning reasonable predictions, but what do I know, I’m just a blogger. So, uhhh, yah, thanks for leaving my friends with leaves to wipe their… You know I forget the reason those 5 “P’s” were important then, but learned about it from an amazing co-worker a few years back (you know who you are). However, there is a difference between preparing for success in your career and an epidemic that threatens life as we know it.

Listen… I understand the wisdom to be wise during this COVID-19 situation, but keep the truth of this promise in your heart. It is in Christ that our sins are forgiven, granting us the entrance into the Kingdom of God to talk about these difficult times in prayer. Don’t lose sight of your confidence by irrational feelings based on societies problems. If it were permitted for me to endure this tragedy in place of those that are dying, I would. And although that may be a fine sentiment, the truth is that trusting in the Lord gives understanding to the reason I would even write such a thing as that. Please consider the cross of Christ.

I’m genuinely more concerned about the individual reading this to have a relationship with Jesus than I am about my death, whether due to the return of Christ, this virus, or not waking up tomorrow. Either way, do you know about this promise of God? …Believe, and your sins “…are forgiven you for his name’s sake.”

Don’t panic.

In Love…

The Psychology Of A Spiritual Relationship | Spiritual Insight | #9

Oh Lord, bless me with words you would find pleasing to read and that will reveal Yourself in them. It’s amazing to think about writing in a way that doesn’t just say something about me as your writer, but rather, the ‘Spirit’ giving utterance to inspire me to write with words that communicate information about what only the Spirit can know.  Do we understand the personal nature of the relationship between the Spirit, Writer, and Reader? Let’s find out, yes?

As your writer, I think of a question and way for me to relate to you (my reader). This can actually compromise the relationship because it depends upon the heart trying to figure out a way of gaining insight about information without the relationship of the Spirit, therefore not providing truth that builds trust, but an agenda which outcome is to be manipulative for personal gain.

Let us bear in mind that the Spirit is not of flesh and blood, so that changes the dynamic between us three. And if we understand the meaning of a relationship then we’ll know that there is a force of nature at work for a relationship to be possible. So… This is about to get interesting because there is an authority that governs between two different wills, of which gives us the freedom to choose who we are in a relationship with and why.

There is a ‘Spirit of Truth’ and a ‘spirit of lies’, now why did I capitalize the ‘S’ and ‘T’ and not the ‘s’ and ‘l’? This is a way of me (Nathan) as your writer, claiming to have a relationship with truth while identifying, in fact, that there are two different Spirit’s. Why? Because this is how we learn who we are in a relationship with although not seeing the “Who”. As a couple quick examples:

I’m not always with my wife (Laura), but when I’m away (not physically seeing her) can still hear her presence with me; such as driving, as I go above the speed limit her telling me to, “slow down”.

You are reading this with all that defines you. but not writing it, because there is a spiritual structure in place for us to have purpose and discern the who, what, when, where, why, and how the relationship is possible between us even though we don’t see each other.

It’s 3:32am, March 11, 2020! It’s crazy to think about so many years before leading up to these moments, expecting 3:45, then tomorrow, and then the rest of our lives… until the reality of death comes without even knocking. That is what keeps me up at night; the thought of my next moment to live when it’s someone else’s next moment to die, inspiring me to wonder about the reason why. This state of thought has me changing colors because the reason is life changing, and that reason is… Love!

It’s 3:45, the truth is in our relationship with Jesus Christ, the testimony about Jesus demonstrating the love of God for all people through His crucifixion on the cross is how we understand the relationship between Spirit, Writer, and Reader. I am called to tell you about the relationship because the spirit of lies is eventually going to be taken out of the way for the truth of salvation revealed in Jesus Christ at His coming. So here comes the conflict between us sense we’ve developed a relationship since the beginning of this post.

Are you in a relationship with the Son of God, Jesus Christ, through the Spirit of Truth? Or. Are you in a relationship with the Father of Lies, The Satan, through the spirit of lies?

What information would I learn about your heart that testifies to the relationship you have in truth, or, in lying?

God Speed.

Do any of you learn by experience, also known as experiential learning (EXL) according to my quick google search? When asked how I learn, I’ve always just said, “I learn hands-on”. Click “hands-on learner” to see more about experiential education.

Capture

Experiential learning at Cascades Academy is implemented at all levels of our curriculum and revolves around the central idea of learning by doing. The central tenets of this methodology include engaging students in a cycle of (1) activity/experience, (2) reflection, (3) conceptualization, and (4) application of desired learning outcomes. While the classroom affords many opportunities for students to engage in experiential education, the school also employs this learning methodology outside the traditional classroom.

So apparently ‘hands-on learning‘ is a form of ‘experiential learning‘, but there is so much more information to delve deeper through the links provided above. Check’em out!

Being that I am an experiential learner, maybe you can relate? It can be a cringing experience, because rather than learning from “the book” we decide to make mistakes until learning whatever knowledge ‘the book‘ has to offer because it’s in the experience that we develop, I think (not bias at all [haha]), a more clear understanding of the meaning to the knowledge that ‘the book‘ presents.

The Lord my God is teaching me a valuable lesson in what His ministry means as I quickly advance my passion to videography for the hope of the gospel preached and experienced in all the world. Don’t misunderstand me, I don’t mean to say that I’m responsible for what only the gospel is capable of, which is the saving work of the soul of the true believer in Jesus Christ. But what I am saying is that I’m responsible for myself in the process of how the Lord my God is sanctifying me personally and that effect which influences this world you and I live in.

Following the diagram given above:

“What happened?”

That question feels more like, “What hasn’t happened?”. I’ve made a mess of things by what I’ve published so ignorantly at times, not thinking about the outside views’ interpretation of my heart by what I’m ambitiously launching into society through T4P. But back to the original question “What happened?”. I launched a Patreon account without the proper structure, it was confusing and misleading.

“What did I experience?”

I experienced embarrassment! You ever find yourself experiencing what seems to be a case of Tourette syndrome? For me, that experience is analyzing every potential outcome to which feels like disaster, so my body will respond by cringing or me giving a loud grunt. Because ultimately the potential ramifications of unwise decisions can’t be undone; it’s the equivalent of hammering your finger instead of the nail and suffering through the healing process, but this type of pain is different, it’s…spiritual. Hence the title, “Spiritual Insight”.

“Why did that happen?”

It happened because my will conflicted with the will of God. What I mean is that I had made the mistake of not waiting on God, but running on ahead as though “I got this” when if ever running without God… I don’t ever ‘got this’ and will fall twice as fast. Know what I’m sayin? You feel me!

For all you “hands-on learners”, I pray you learn to wait and run with God sooner than later because if not, it will be painful. Thankfully mistakes are made to learn from and not to do again. And by the grace of God, let’s get up and move on.

“What to do next?”

This post is an example of what I did next:

  •  Slow down.
  •  Let people you can trust love you through your mess.
  •  Get counsel before, not after implementing a project, especially if the idea is worth investment.
  •  Don’t let the mistake consume, get up, and move on.
  •  Create your own blog, setup a Patreon accou…[KIDDING!].
  •  Wait on God.

I’m thankful to God by His grace in Jesus Christ that my friend and brother Glen took the time to meet with me at McD’s to help me see where I was blind.

I am so honored, blessed, rich even, that I have the people I do holding me accountable as providential agent’s (a guide that cares to provide help for my future). That is the hope of T4P; to become a beacon of care to provide help for your future.

God Speed.

Mindset

Introduction: This is my first post on T4P, Nathan has granted me access to contribute from time to time. My name is Glen. I hope this post helps someone.

I recently had an event that could have had me very upset. I’ll go into specifics in a minute. This article is not about being upset though. It’s about using emotional triggers to look inward, pray, see what scripture has to say about the matter and come to peace and growth.

A brief background. I am currently going through a chapter 7 bankruptcy. That is not what this article is focused on, but it is important. I want to go into that more in another article later. My mom paid $2000 for my bankruptcy lawyer with the expectation that I will pay her back as I can. Pamela offered to pay that in full when her income tax refund comes in. She planned to replace the beds for the kids and us as well. They are all very worn with several holes chewed out by dogs and sagging spots. She also planned to do vehicle maintenance. Her car needs new tires and the check engine light and slip light are on. Past that, she agreed to give me $2000 to go toward converting half of our two car garage into a man cave / study. It is very difficult for me to focus on anything with no space for myself in a house of five with three teenagers. I go to Dennys’ to do homework almost every day when I take classes. So all of these things had me very excited. I was making 3D Models of the garage conversion and had a running spreadsheets for materials with prices and links to where I found the best deals.

Cut to the event. Pamela got a letter from the IRS that all of her refund except $1000 was applied to her outstanding student loan and we’re not getting the money we had expected. She graduated from a culinary school about 7 years ago. The original student loan was $7000, but with interest and fees about $9000. She was on a payment plan, but the small payments were barely chipping away at all and we didn’t know what to do about it. I kind of figured it would always just be there.

When I first read the letter my initial reaction was to reassure Pamela that we will be ok and that I am not upset with her and will find another way to take care of the things that we need most, such as vehicle maintenance, kids clothes, beds, and that I will pay my mom back. The rest of the day it really sat in that I will not be able to make my little area of refuge in the garage.

This is something I really want. I can act extroverted in social situations, but deep down I identify more as an introvert and I feel a need to recharge by myself. I have not been able to do that since I started dating Pamela. I don’t play any musical instruments anymore. I don’t draw. I have to go out to program or study. I very rarely even watch TV or play games on the PlayStation or PC aside from when I pick up Big Mike and take the laptop to Dennys. Trying to get everyone to leave me alone so I can think straight for an hour or two is not worth the fight it takes to achieve such a miracle. The boys will find ten reasons to come out of their bedroom and ask me questions. They blare their TV and Phones, usually both at once in competition with each other for volume. If I take away their phones, then they fight with each other loudly out of boredom if nothing else. By the time I get any quit I’m ready for bed. There’s also the issue of feeling stupid for going through such trouble if it’s not for something important like school. I feel ridiculous just trying to have a peaceful minut to watch TV or especially to play a game. I work 50, 62, or 74 hours per week, and intermittently take classes on top of that and try to keep the house in decent maintenance. Sometimes I just want to stop and play a game, but I don’t.

If I had a little space in the garage walled off and cooled with a mini split ductless A/C unit and a desk and TV I could stay home to study or relax any time I needed or wanted and feel more recharged to have quality time with the family in between.

Anyway, enough of that. I wanted to emphasise how strongly I felt about it and what it meant to me. That done, I can move on to where I am now.

The following thought process has helped me find peace and grow closer in relationship with God and build better character through a healthier outlook on life many times. Here’s how it works.

God wants us to have Peace in all things. Not just the good. Even in the midst of stressful situations or problems out of our control.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I use any emotion that triggers a feeling other than peace as a sign to stop and pray about why I don’t have peace and ask for help to find it and give thanks.

In many cases my thoughts were not aligned with scripture. Theophostic Prayer Ministries has a great method to help people pinpoint conflicting beliefs and find harmful thoughts that do not align with scripture.

In this case my thoughts about finances were not aligned with God’s will.

Romans 13:7

Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

I was content to slowly chip away at a debt with no real hope of it going away while spending money that could have repaid that debt on other things.

This article sums this up very well: https://get.tithe.ly/blog/bible-verses-about-debt

With this new view I was able to see that having the tax refund go directly to the student loan and paying it in full now has freed us, not burdened us. God helped us to not only do the right thing, but the thing that would benefit our future most and a thing that we would not have done on our own without this new scriptural alignment.

I am thankful that this has happened the way it did. I have a bit more content with my current situation as well. I believe my garage conversion can still be in my future, but in God’s timing without debt, and with peace that when it does happen, it will be a blessing and not a curse in the form of debt.

My hope in writing this is that the reader will take the following lessons to heart. God loves us and wants what is best for us. When we don’t have Peace, God is trying to tell us something is not in alignment with His will for us. When this happens, the best thing we can do is stop and pray. Search Scripture, and be open and looking for change in yourself, not in anything external. The situation is just a trigger, the real problem is always within our own thought process.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I’m excited to write! It feels good when you’re focused on the task at hand, but feels especially good when that task is complete and you can say, “It is good…”. That line of thought immediately took me to… ‘The Beginning‘! Or the book of Genesis in the Bible. It’s just, the sentence flow seemed more…dramatic, with; ‘The Beginning‘!

Side Note: when I wrote,“That line of thought immediately took me…”, connected me to Philip in Acts 8:39 as he was took by the Spirit of the Lord. It’s interesting how the Holy Spirit works with our spirit, to take us where we need to be in honor and glory of Jesus Christ.

Imagine creation… We may think we know a lot, but there is so much we don’t know yet! There is still so much to discover! Can you imagine the work it took for creation to exist as it does; and us not only be a part of the created, but experience the knowledge of creation. When you see the magnificent work still in it’s operation as though not quite finished, think on these words from the Lord our God of creation…

Righteous

31 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

I mean, what more is there to say? It is remarkable to experience such glory that I had no part in creating, but live to invent useful contraptions that may help advance our knowledge of the amazing Creator…as though God has permitted us (the human race) to create something new, when, in fact, we invent by using what God has already created to be new. How cool is that?

D6A0F65C-C8C6-4A4F-A1BB-EE48EB186488

As I write my next ‘…’ for this experiment.

Did you know what ‘word’ I was going to use after next? I feel my experience in this creation work of God seems to be a lot like that. I’m given just enough information to get an idea about the meaning of life, but the truth is, life is meaningless without Jesus Christ dying on the cross to take away the sin of the world. Because now, now we experience what is more superior than logic, and that is… Love!

I can hear spring blowing in by the power of the wind. I wonder if I stepped outside the wind would launch me out of my present state of confusion…into clarity. It’s weird when you have this overwhelming ambition to work in the Spirit of God as called to preach the gospel and make disciples, having been given this vision to see the condition of the world for the purpose of the cure, but feel it pointless. “Am I missing something?” I wonder. Lets put it to the test.

I’ve given brief background to my conversion story in previous posts so I won’t burden you. The question that pricks is, “why me?”. Why have I heard the gospel and believe it so true that I’m willing to do whatever necessary to preach it for the salvation of the world? Is it that the potential of this message contains the power to save the world and convert every soul from death to life?

I pray there is no misinterpretation to my questions because it’s not my salvation that is at stake… The knowledge to our human condition is so obvious that only a fool would say in their heart, “there is no God”. And look see… As I meditate on the next line to write, the spiritual insight comes…

The gospel contains the words of every native language to convict with truth the person’s condition; personal sin, an unspeakable gratification of desire that condemns the soul to death because it tells the truth about the heart of a person.

I believe a person that understands this truth when comparing it to the human condition sees only the symptoms to a much deeper issue of sin that only God sees. We see symptoms:

  • love of money
  • status (pride)
  • complexes
  • pornography (lust)
  • sexual foreplay (whether fantasized or with someone else’s spouse)
  • drugs (abuse)

These ‘were’ but a few of my own personal symptoms to a much deeper issue of sin that only God can make sense of, and is why I preach Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Do you have a relationship with Him? Are you in the Word of God, meditating after God every day? Because that is where you’ll find the gospel about Jesus Christ and the revelation of salvation.

I know what you’re thinking, “…skipped 4”. But I didn’t, that one actually turned out to be a very personal one that I may publish eventually…we’ll see. So I’m doing a study on the Holy Spirit of God, and I must say, it’s quite literally an enlightenment every step of the way. I was listening to my wife the other day in our little Toyota Corolla on the way to church criticizing the way I explain things sometimes; she was very encouraging, the fact is, I take leaps in logic when trying to transition two different forms of thought in my mind that are conflicted with feelings. It’s like my brain ‘short circuits’ thinking of the necessary transition for a proper explanation to the feeling and insight at hand, but skips the entire transition all together leaving the person scratching their head like…. “what just happened” (haha). All together, It’s frustrating.

As an example, there is a video I just recently published on YouTube and had to edit (making several cuts) because of my short circuit issue:

But that is how I learn, hands-on, so now it’s a matter of putting that understanding into practice when giving explanations or just, communicating in general.

The wind just started picking up outside, the whistle gets louder and louder and it feels like the house is moving as though hard pressed against the direction of the wind but losing the arm wrestling match.

See how I just took a leap in logic! Joking, that is actually happening right now and how it correlates is what I’m learning in Hebrew to the meaning of “Spirit of God” which is “wind” or “breath”, but it’s interesting to note that the origin of the Holy Spirit functions as a Person from the Person of God making the Holy Spirit a relational Being to all Mankind. But are you willing to believe? Anyway… Planning on doing a video on that hear soon.

Alright, I need to get ready for a Starbucks meeting.

It’s amazing how writing is changing my life. There are other things available for me to be doing, like, figure out loop holes to covenant eyes and watch some porn, or worse, fantasize about porn unbeknownst to my wife and get myself off. So why not do that? I mean, why care about the obvious side effect like, divorce. It’s a normality now in our modern day culture and age of technology, what could possibly go wrong?

I think about people close to me, people that are as close as family should be, but aren’t due to that very side effect… I’m not complaining, only accepting the outcome of my reality in this world of…”ME”. I feel the Spirit of God grieve, my soul aches, but what does it matter? What influence could I possibly have on a world chosen for itself; not only men and women willing, but abducted people, and even, [even] innocent children trafficked into the sex industry. It’s a shame to confess that I’d once willingly contributed a watchful eye roaming through the abyss, or dare I say blissful pleasures of darkness online.

I didn’t expect this type of post to be written, after all, where is the insight other than the most depressive thing anyone could read? The insight was at the beginning of this post—

“There are other things available for me…”

I choose to expose what is looming around in the dark over the alternative. The alternative would seem to be doing what no one would know I was doing, or, on the contrary, would expect me to be doing because it’s the “normal”. It’s not at all funny, but one might think, “oh bravo”, as though to give me a sarcastic applause, “you must be better than everyone else”, no… No. Fact is, conversion is real by this testimony of information displayed for all to read. And if conversion is real and they’re not converted, then welcome to the crossroads because they have a choice from here.

Light is available in the dark, but will you choose the ecstasy of light over the pleasure of dark? Is the question. As for me, I choose the ecstasy of light exposing what was once dark about my name… Adulterer! Murderer! Covet-er! Liar! Sinner! …!

At the tick tock of 2:40 in the morning listening to the sound of rain gracefully hit our house and the deep steady breathing laying next to me… It’s peaceful. I reach over to get my phone to read some scripture from the famous YouVersion Bible app, but “where should I read?”, I wonder, and meditate as the options of New or Old are presented before me; I choose Old and land in Leviticus at first, but it seemed off of how I needed to be fed spiritually until I found myself in Deuteronomy 4 to get my nutrition, but why? Why here?

22 For I will die in this land, I shall not cross the Jordan, but you shall cross and take possession of this good land. 23 So watch yourselves, that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God which He made with you, and make for yourselves a graven image in the form of anything against which the Lord your God has commanded you. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

So watch yourselves was the phrase repeated to stand out for me because it mean’t something good and savory. But what, and how? The ‘what’ was the law of the Ten Commandments and the ‘how’ was that of a mountain burning with fire to the very heart of the heavens—from the midst of the fire a voice with the sound of words yet seeing no form.

It is as though the fire spoke words, but the understanding given to me was that the fire takes on the shape and form of symbolism but is not the voice with the sound of words understood from God as invisible, and yet, present with purpose! Thinking on verse 9 same chapter put me in a deep state of meditation and practice.

“Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.

Try speaking your conscience without moving your tongue. In other words, try intently thinking of your voice inside your mind and form words without moving your tongue and talk to God. It’s difficult being simultaneously conscious to the activity of your tongue when trying to speak to God without it, but as you practice, practice by committing obedience the covenant … “I will not forget the covenant of the Lord my God”.

I mean… Alright, this will somehow be an hysterical rhetoric considering this to be the first of many posts written to myself, but publishing for, well, you to read, and, whatever.

How is it I fathom spirit as a biological being to gain insight about that which is not fathomable…or is it? I can make sense of how I exist by scientific data in relation to my philosophical system, but to make sense of how I can make sense of that is…well…you tell me. If it wasn’t for the help of technology to access real time knowledge and data, well, I’d probably be thinking something like, what the hell is going on right now? At a loss to reason this idea that is seemingly wasting my time because I’m being fed information beyond my capacity to experience, so—what the hell is going on right now?

I can just hear my wife now if she were to read this, “Nathan!”, in her high pitched tone half joking to lighten the blow of how serious she is… Gawww I love er! She can be quite sensitive to words our society uses to curse with, like, ‘burn in hell‘, joking or not, the Bible clearly teaches how we ought to use our tongue. However, my standard doesn’t reach as high, obviously, but if I were to follow after an example on how to control my tongue, it would be the example of my wife (Laura). Anyway, I digress.

I can hear the birds chirping up a song outside, kids walking down the street getting ready for their bus rides to school, vehicles making there way in all their various noises indicating the typical work hour has begun for the enslaved human soul (Yah, that’s not me, pm and weekends guy, freed from slavery -that was a bad joke-). It’s interesting to experience these senses that inspire knowledge giving information about your sphere of influence; some of these vehicles driving by our house are louder than a damn train, growing up, I can remember hearing the train from it’s distance, it was just far enough away to sound peaceful compared to these loud-assuming entitled type people-vehicles that wake the entire neighborhood up to make a statement, “WAKE THE *F* UP IN PEOPLE”, and I’m like, “I’LL MURDER YOU”. See what happens when you’re deprived of using curse words, you resort to *F* for *FAITH* and realize “IN” had a purpose.

Don’t judge me, you sinners, you thought I mean’t something else, didn’t you, don’t lie. Alight, funny aside. I think it’s spiritually enlightening when taking a moment to breathe and acknowledge your senses that give you understanding about your environment that you wouldn’t otherwise have unless you’d taken the moment to breathe with purpose.

Time 4 Providence

Providential Ministries

So in the periodic table you’ll find the elements that describe the make-up of the human body, but what you will not find is the element of faith. Why? Well, ironically, faith consists of the elements that make up the human body’s ability to experience it’s existence… meaning that the elements that make up the human body actually describe the element of faith. How? Well… let’s look at that.

The human body has the ability to experience logical reasoning (such as argument = deductive | inductive | abductive) and intellectual emotions (use of emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and manage and/or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one’s goal(s)) credit to God… But also research (Google and Wikipedia).

The data communicates an invisible Creator to all creation, but not proven by elemental evidence unless there is evidence for the element of faith. And… I’ll make the argument that there is using one verse in the Bible, Hebrews 11:1—

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

The fact that you’re reading this presently confirms the substance of assurance because of the relationship between you and what you’re interested in by responding to the evidence of this post.

Now the question becomes directed at the mystery of your interest, what is it you hoped for…or…what do you expect out of this post? The answer will reveal the condition of your heart as you come to realize that someone is capable of hearing the motive of every beat and seeing the intention by it’s sound; there is a tune to the beat of your heart, but who is the someone to interpret such a song?

You may be reading this because you know me by our relationship and are giving me credit to the work of my passion although not really caring about the message itself or… You may not know me and don’t care, but are curious about the information by the title or… The list could go on.

The evidence for this faith element is the response to your conviction. Why do you have the ability to discern right from wrong and good from evil? What is the point of these qualities? If you gave me permission to look into the entirety of your life span, would I find anything wrong or evil if judged by the law of the ten commandments?

Exodus 20:3-17

  • You shall have no other gods before [or besides] Me.
  • You shall not make for yourself [a graven image] an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
  • You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not [hold him guiltless] leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
  • Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who [is in your gates] stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.
  • Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
  • You shall not murder.
  • You shall not commit adultery.
  • You shall not steal.
  • You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  • You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

How would you be judged if any part of your life was found in violation of these laws, guilty or not guilty?

If you’re asking me that same question, it would be, shamefully, ‘guilty’. But is it my body that is guilty, or my spirit? Because my body, ultimately, is just a machine, an engine-if you will-but my spirit is the substance that gives my body a personality… So what exactly is innocence if my body is made up of material that is convicted to death, which is the condemnation resulting my conviction (evidence of death) that describes the condition (shame and guilt) of my spirit?

I would conclude that my body is innocent while my spirit is guilty, but why since I had no part of the decision process to be guilty and die… Could it be that I was indoctrinated by my environment of Christianity?

That would be a logical conclusion, but insufficient because of my ability to understand the meaning of indoctrination and capacity to ignore that as my influence for choosing to believe the components that make up my faith separate my environment—matter of fact, my environment would’ve actually indoctrinated me in atheism because of the injustice to my experience of abuse and previous pleasures to personal sins.

Energy is convertible… And I possessed a dark worldly death type of energy (sin) before my conversion experience. There is truth data emitted into our existence by God for our freewill calibrated beings to accept and respond to, and when we do, there is an extraordinary experience that occurs to a person in dire need of salvation. That experience is what I call a ‘providential experience’ because the meaning of this experience is divine in nature and is not explained by human logic, only inspired by the spiritual logic and emotion of God through the Word of God (Revelation 19:13).

That is the reason Christianity should not be defined as the Christian religion… Because it’s not a religion, the experience is defined by the covenant relationship established between a person of belief and faith in Jesus Christ (the Son of God) and God the Father in Heaven which saves the [now innocent] soul (through sanctification of the Holy Spirit) from death and hell by the gift of grace and mercy equating to forgiveness equipped with confidence to live a life of righteousness through faith in the love of God—

Love is the most powerful element to the equation of faith and hope. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Because… God is love (1 John 4:8) and exposes the reality of our sin nature which separates us from God presently, but thankfully He sent His only Son to die the death that condemns us to hell and defeated our enemy of death for us to have life eternal with God again when it’s time!

Come Lord Jesus, come. Amen.

labelled by “labellers”

Encouragement to believers labelled by “Labellers”

As I travel through the land of the internet in the work of an Evangelist… I’ve come across some very disturbing insights. There are certain believers within group discussions on Facebook regarding soteriology (“doctrine of salvation”) such as Calvinism and Arminianism which quickly become destructive in nature because of a spiritual condition known as “ego”.

Now… I’m picking on “Calvi’s” and “Armini’s” for the sake of exposing the spiritual issue (ego), if you’re reading this and happen to identify with either of these please know that I’m not telling you ‘it’s wrong to identify as a calvinist or arminianist’. I believe there to be a spiritual discourse between predestination and freewill out of genuine concern for correct teaching on the doctrine of God—based on my observations.

However, it’s come to my attention by associating myself in these two groups—

  • Soteriology 101 Discussion

  • Soteriology 201

—That there is also a “label calling” issue. I’m guilty of this as well, but am learning more and more the sin that is involved. An example would be something like this …

Nathan: Richard, that view of scripture classifies you under  __________ and that is where you’re in error, because  __________ is false doctrine and if you continue in that view you’re continuing in unrepentant sin.

Richard: Nathan, that’s unfair for you to “classify” or label me as __________ when I didn’t claim such and such _________. Just because you hold to  __________ and _________ view does not mean that view is superior to my understanding which according to you is a continuation of “unrepentant sin”… (meaning….not truly saved?).

And let the arguing begin. This arguing did not occur because of the creation of the group, it’s an issue of the heart… a condition of sin that needs looking into because it’s a cancer that influences the mind, “ego”. We need to stop doing this, there is a wise and constructive way to handle our language to edify the Body of Christ (individual members of the same faith in Jesus).

I pray this message finds you well and with peace. If you happen to be a part of the two group discussions listed above (on Facebook), please don’t leave the group… on the contrary, join the group and love on people with the example of Jesus Christ. And if you’re just learning about these groups, I encourage you to join in on the discussions.

If the environment to the discussion groups you’re part of is too toxic, then I encourage you to join this group Soteriology | Salvational Engineering! And if you’re young or old in the christian faith, even of a different faith, or don’t have a faith , you’re invited to that group! Let’s discuss and debate our belief systems in a healthy constructive manner.

In love,

Nathan Dooley

SIN

It’s funny, the featured photo represents the theme well. If you look closely you’ll see little unintended “dots” where I was trying to edit the photo using the “Markup” tool on my iPhone proving that I was “missing the mark” in finalizing the photo. According to the Greek, I “sinned“. Okay, not technically because we’re not dealing with a simple mistake.

It is so much more difficult to try an communicate this understanding on camera than it is to write. But I enjoy the practice, ever learning.

Laying the foundation of spiritual understanding is the practice of putting the desires of your flesh (your life) to death. Because we need to be born again for a new life that will not die. When Adam and Eve “missed the mark” by eating the fruit God commanded them not to eat, they fell short of the glory they once had by not eating that fruit; so they were given over to their choice, which was to die, but that’s not the end.

Adam and Eve were convicted upon hearing the sound of the Lord God among the trees of the garden and hid themselves because they were afraid. Why is that? I believe it’s because they recognized their shame due to enlightenment that fruit possessed. However, they both responded to God’s call. You are also being called. “Where are you?”.

Freewill is an interesting aspect of our reality and topic controversial. Why do we have a ‘will’ that’s “free” if grounded by gravity? I experience limitation and vulnerability. I’m taught and educated by a system that seems built on captivity, not freedom, but by the spiritual illness of greed and selfishness. Freedom…is perverted.

Speaking from experience. I lived a life where my will to be free was perverted. I idolized people and myself, and God. I’ve heard a true message or teaching from a false prophet or preacher. How can that be? The human heart is desperately wicked because of what it desires, it desires the will to be God. And so the human race works hard for this goal because of a teaching that dates back to the beginning of unrighteousness (Ezekiel 28:15).

When reality is so noisy it’s very easy to hear what gives you attention and fall prey to an evil deception. Preachers are as human as the humans receiving what is preached, but don’t be mistaken, false teachers will not go unpunished.

“Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.” James 3:1

If you come to recognize that you are in a bad spiritual environment, know there is hope, keep your faith. Truth is in the power of the Holy Spirit if you believe in Jesus Christ to understand salvation and the kingdom of God.

Atheist Christian Entrapment

Atheist Christian Entrapment

B2B37315-FB6F-414B-A82A-1C7C5DF3B186
So an Atheist and Christian walk into an elevator. The Atheist hits “6” while the Christian does not hit a number to indicate which floor. While the elevator is in transit the lights flicker, screen displays a red “” dot where there should be a “#” number to indicate the passing floor’s, but the elevator continues to move to unknown floors eventually reaching a stopping point, possibly between floors. The Christian obnoxiously says to the Atheist, “Don’t worry, there’s a God!” And hits the “help” button to alert the elevator company of the entrapment while the Atheist rudely “rolls their eyes” and hits the “Alarm” button a few times to hopefully alert someone from outside the entrapment. But no button appears to be working for anyone to know about the entrapment, so the Atheist and Christian hug until they both die…

See that’s what happens when you construct and form a “bias” that projects on another person unfairly, you get a joke of an ending.

It is no simple or ordinary “task” when removing a background of experiential information including but not limited to (geographical location, education, influence, etc.) what you’re born into, for understanding someone else’s information. But in doing so will provide and establish equal ground for understanding a different perspective. You can read in the “elevator” scenario above two separate claims by the label’s “Atheist” and “Christian” to culminate war by a misunderstanding built on personal experience through (background, geographical location, education, influence, etc.).

The true and pure reason a person of belief aims at convincing a person of unbelief is because of a mysterious perspective to enlightenment that only comes by understanding the condition of the human heart. Acknowledging our present condition of illness means to yearn for and seek out the remedy. Here is where it gets interesting by conflict and clashing occurs between a difference in perspective’s; a true believer will understand illness represents a spiritual condition of the heart that only the Spiritual Creator or Life Giver (God), can remedy; Whereas the unbeliever reasons by logic and determines the remedy hopeless to eventually decide there is no remedy worth believing in, because there’s no evidence for one.

Both of the above perspectives are true, but one is superior in nature not because of the person, but divinity—believing and trusting in the “remedial cure” for a spiritual condition. Again, not the believer, the true believer acknowledges the same condition of illness as everyone else in the world. But by choosing to believe in the Spiritual Creator for yourself, “exercises faith”, that provides the remedy. The person that truly believes, is transmitting by the inspiration of the one who has the remedy, the Holy Spirit of God. The true believer’s wifi password is ____________?

If you learn about the “anointed cherub who covers” in the book of Ezekiel found in the Bible and understand the meaning, you’ll discover how freewill works (knowledge of good and evil) and trust that God is good (John 17). Because by choosing to be unreasonable and not understand this meaning, is willfully choosing to be given a spirit of ignorance that is consequential to eternal judgement. Don’t let “unrighteousness be found in you” (Ezekiel 28:15).

Trust that God is good through the Holy Spirit link in the wifi password “Jesus Christ”.

In love,

Nathan Dooley

P.S. choose an eternal perspective over your carnal reality (the elevator landed on the “7th” floor)

Spiritual Engineering

When I worked as an engineer was required to understand machinery and their systems of programming to maintain operation. It is very important to do routine maintenance and have an ability to discern your environment of operation to prevent malfunction of your machinery. It is a very personal experience, possibly, even…relationship, an engineer has with his “duty of service” to provide the right measure of care for harmony.

Salvation Engineering

The spirit of a person is infinitely more complex than a piece of machinery. But if you don’t know me, that there, is my passion, my gift, you might say. People are predictable, as predictable as a storm approaching from the west, it’s only a matter of time before you see the lightening, hear the thunder, smell the rain, and taste the water. It’s not hard to discern the spirit of a person as you experience them, but it is very hard to fix the spirit of a broken person—especially one that doesn’t want to be fixed.

There is a wide range of feelings, intellect, perception, expectation, and truth to navigate through when seeking out your care for a person to make sense of the business and relationship. There are an innumerable amount of questions to sift through:

* “Who exactly am I dealing with?”

* “What advantage do I have by our relationship?”

* “When do we make the deal?”

* “Where is this relationship going?”

* “Why do I care to deal with this person?”

* “How do I respect this relationship?”

Are but a few. And noticed those indirect questions within the network of people. And I wonder, are they happy or have true joy? It’s funny, I also wonder, if you saw a picture of me and imagined what kind of conversation we might have, what do you think it would be about, who do you think would start the conversation, and why? The close-to-near immediate place I go to is the heart because of what intent I have for knowing you. While you or I may start the conversation with “Hi, my name is…” or “Hi! How are you?” The real stuff we are both processing through is much deeper than that because of information that defines our characters and chemistry.

Spiritual Engineering

You and I are but two particles of energy that clash to make sense of this mysterious reality of constant symphony that makes up two different perspectives into one view (I see you). Keep in mind that energy is invisible until it’s given light. The intent I have for knowing you is to discover your light, because, it’s there, the question is whether you’re willing to reveal it?

The world in which we live is a very deceptive and untrustworthy place. You just don’t really know who you can trust when the closest people you thought you could trust betrays you. I wouldn’t be writing this if I didn’t have some personal experience and couldn’t somehow relate to the dark energy of this world masquerading itself as light. But when equipped with a spirit of truth, can discern the spirit of deception, and pray for salvation.

There is a group that has been recently created on facebook to exercise trust for your spirit. The group is called “Salvational Engineering”. It is a place where questions can be asked to a community of people that are also asking questions and learning about their spirits themselves in this dark and seemingly uncertain world. Come check it out. Here is a link.

When I First Read The Gospel | 2

You know, thinking back on it, I think I was baptized 4 times. But the point is I’d gone through the appropriate steps to be certified “Christian”. I remember making enough sense of the gospel to wonder “what’s the point of my education” if this life is meant to end for another to begin; it was more important for me to understand life after death than high school, but the reality of this life hits pretty hard when gravity throws a hook to the face a few times.

Next thing I know I’m well on my way in life with a good job working to get a “B” license at a waste water treatment plant in Wichita Fall Tx hoping to have a family of my own. I was ready baby, lets do it! At least, that was the appearance. The truth was, I wasn’t well on my way, issues within my personal life dealing with family consumed me. I was really ready for two things, death and taxes, okay not taxes, but was definitely ready to bounce up out of this life because no miracle of salvation happens for me. I didn’t experience the gift of power that would liberate me from sin and transform my life. I just got confused by what was expected of me by people who weren’t even practicing what they preached!

One thing did not change…my curiosity about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Somehow I knew it wasn’t this book’s fault for all the bad that’s happened, so one day in my early 20ies living in a duplex apartment with my step-brother, read through the gospels for myself and won’t forget the “ahhhh” moments as I read. But here is the thing, I’d already gone through what technically makes me “Christian”. Why was I now experiencing these “ahhhh” moments?

Oh just wait, this gets good!

These “ahhhh” moments reflected my heart ready to receive revelations for life change like seeds planted in fertile soil ready to germinate. But guess what, the testing of my faith began and it was ugly. There was opportunity after opportunity to experience so many different kinds of pleasures in the name of christianity because I didn’t understand the birth of my faith. It’s like, like a baby not understanding why he or she is screaming until milk shuts em the hell up [don’t tell me you hadn’t thought it you sinner] (humor recalibrated). But I didn’t have anyone to give me milk, so due to misunderstanding am ready to exit this life time and time again. Malnourished faith left me vulnerable to sin and desire for exiting life questioning my salvation.

While the testing of my faith is not over and am eating meat with my milk now, have the environment needed to grow and understand my service in this life. My service is you. You need to understand your salvation in Jesus Christ because if you don’t believe in God’s plan for salvation, you’ll find yourself ashamed that you didn’t listen nor seek after your own salvation given in believing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Do you believe in a life guards ability to save a person drowning? Do you have respect for life guards on duty prepared to save everyone willing to be saved? Then have respect for God by giving Him your full attention in reading the gospel of Jesus Christ  because He has saved you already if you’ll believe with faith.

When I First Read The Gospel | 1

I’d grown up in church and heard the gospel. I would say that a fearful understanding of hell occurred around the age of 8 and desired salvation every night asking Jesus into my heart just to make sure I was accounted for, because the sensation of burning alive felt real as the enlightenment of truth met my soul.

But was I saved?

I’ve been baptized 3 times just to make sure the appropriate steps were made for receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. I was baptized by two pastors one being my stepdad; to publicize my proclamation of faith, and last exclusively by my wife in the bathtub; turned out she was just trying to kill me, talk about literal death to resurrection (totally kidding).

But do I have the gift?

Knowledge of Good and Evil

Knowledge of Good and Evil

I pray this article will find you well and bless you with truth and spiritual development. I believe it is crucial for me to understand the knowledge of good and evil. I hope you will find value from sharing the experience of my inquiry.

What is knowledge?

Knowledge is information. If I take away all information but the fact that I exist, where does my knowledge come from? How do I understand anything? Take away the “search bar” and ask me what I know. Knowledge is circumstantial. I could tell you what my perception of knowledge is, but it’s the knowledge of Nathan.

How about you? Apart from the education you’ve received and environmental influence or governance. Would you be able to explain how and who you are? What does knowledge mean for you? What is the knowledge of you?

It is interesting, at least for me, when I consider that I know nothing apart from divine inspiration. It only makes sense that knowledge comes from the spirit of my being, my soul. Here is where it gets fascinating. The soul breathed into man by God was sustained by the garden of Eden which was/is a divine place of God. Something happened when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree was divine in that when we (humankind born of Adam and Eve) ate of the fruit became like God (knowing good and evil).

Before we ate that fruit were made in the image and likeness of God but did not know what God knew. We cultivated and governed as representatives of God, but were not God; eating of that fruit made man become like God without being THE God, if that makes sense. We were given divine inspiration to the knowledge of good and evil upon eating what God warned us not to eat because we would be condemned to death.

The curse of death is the mark we bear as a testimony of the truth to our sin and punishment for evil.

There are two deaths, but I won’t get into that now. The point is that we have divine knowledge of good and evil. The Bible teaches us about this knowledge and with the Holy Spirit enlightens us to salvation from death. And that is good news!

What is good?

Only God is good! That is how God, is God, because God is good. If my God were not good, but evil also, then there is no God, but only chaos. Truth is good. There is a reason death is a consequence to my present state. This is also why my God can be trusted, because His judgement is just. How I know is by Jesus Christ. If God were evil would not go to the extent of giving His only Son as a living sacrifice for the sin of the world, provided to and for all that will come to believe in Him to be saved and ultimately rewarded depending on the race you run in salvation. Good is what pleases God, and God is love.

What is Evil?

Evil is Satan. Seeking out the vulnerable for abuse. Distorting the truth. Thinking I am the God of my life. Believing that Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh. Evil is Judas Iscariot betraying the innocent blood of Jesus Christ. For the love of money is the root of all evil. Adultery at heart. Murder at heart. Lying. The sinister element that tempts the heart to corruption. The desire to take and consume life rather than to give of it. To steal rather than serve. To not clothe the naked. To not give food to the hungry and drink to the thirsty. To not visit those in prison.

To understand the tree of the knowledge of good and evil means to discern your spirit and the spirit of those that come to you. The only thing I care to find out about a person is whether they know the truth and believe in Jesus Christ.

Do you know the truth about our condition of sin and do you believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ?

In love,

Nathan Dooley

The Shadow Of Death

†The Shadow Of Death†

Why do we die? What happens when we die? Wait, soooo…two people have not experienced death? Did we die at the beginning of mankind?

I take for granted this “blip” of life given me by God. It’s been quite a convicting ongoing study of death, key in on the “ongoing” because there are so many testimonials of this experience that it’s difficult not to get lost in confusion and fear of the unknown, to the point of just … giving up.

It is also difficult when finding the answer of consequence in relation to those not believing in Jesus Christ (The Word of God) to be that they are destroyed in hell. To think about someone you love so deeply being in such a place. It just doesn’t seem plausible that a loving God would do that. The experience that surrounds the event of death can cause many to question their faith, or understanding of life, it’s traumatic.

From my search and study in Genesis of the Bible found that I die because of the warning “…for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” I live in a “garment of skin” that testifies to the ground from which my father (Adam) was created; this ground I walk on, the dust that I am and will eventually return to, is cursed. Because the curse consequently … is death.

But that’s not the end.

The reason I believe Adam didn’t die as expectantly was because of the length of time that concludes 1 day. Adam lived to be nearly 1000 years old after the consequence of his sin, but it says that God warned “…for in the day…” so what happened? Why didn’t he die in that day? And why don’t we die in a day?

The apostle Peter of Jesus Christ enlightens me to this truth “that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.” so that explains the reason why Adam didn’t just die as expectantly. These forms of enlightenment are all throughout scripture.

Please don’t do yourself a disservice not to at least consider trusting God with your time in His Word to help you through very hard and difficult times and questions.

Ultimately my Lord God and Father in Heaven is sovereign in how life is governed. I can only hope that those who’ve heard or are hearing this gospel will believe in it’s message. Because the message will give warning and reward. To believe means you bear responsibility to the preaching of this Word that confirms your eternal salvation. To do so means to love, not only your family, but the entire world. Because my Lord and Savior did not die in vain, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The gift of the Holy Spirit that records your name in heaven is the reward.

I pray you will trust in the providence of God. Because none are without excuse, even the dead have heard and are hearing the gospel.

LIVE

In love,

Nathan Dooley

P.S. Tell me who the “two people” are that have not experienced death.

Broken | Coffee Cup

Broken | Coffee Cup

Went to wash my coffee cup and it slipped right out of my hand with a failed attempt to hackysack that sucker. Boom! Broken. It’s interesting though, how that reflects me. I’m broken. Are you broken? I need some coffee…oh wait. That’s alright, I have the coffee cup my grandma gave me.

How am I broken?

I’m broken by the reality of sin. I understand my condition, prone to selfishness. my body is descending to a place of death. But why? And what does that mean? Being equipped with the Holy Spirit inspires to enlighten me with the truth.

I recognize that the condition of my body represents the decaying matter of my soul passed on through Adam and Eve at the time of their deception and disobedience. The ground from which man was made is cursed because Adam listened to his wife by eating the fruit he knew not to eat.

The fruit Eve and Adam ate of was from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So we now possess the knowledge of good and evil understanding our guilt and just judgement of God.

↓But why didn’t we die?

The human intelligence has evolved to the point of creating simulations of ourselves with the intention of birthing an artificial soul or souls that can feel, think, and relate for it/themselves without human involvement; we will build a beast, the beast of revelation (mission complete). What next? The point is we want to determine for ourselves our time of death or to avoid the experience altogether.

↑We didn’t die because we don’t determine our time of death. God does. God created us. We didn’t create God. There is a time of death I pray the person reading this will not experience, but it is determined by God. Don’t try and say you weren’t warned.

Would you like to know when that time of death is that God determines? Me to, join the club, but we are given signs of the times to watch for. Pay close attention, because the time is near.

Although in process of sanctification…

I’m broken.

In love,

Nathan Dooley

Grandma

The Difference Between A Relationship And Religion

I was talking with a guy here recently about life. A military man. This guy has quite the story, a lot I can relate and not relate to, been through more than most in a short period of time being in his early thirties. It’s no wonder the reason he questions his relationship to God. He believes there is something, a higher power; but the God of the Bible and Christianity, not buying it or any other gods/god of the many facets to other religions.

Did you know that anger can be a religion?

How about a sport like soccer?

Even the military?

I resonate especially with the first two “anger” and “soccer”. But now, my religion, is my grandma. That might seem weird, but I’m telling you, only if you knew my grandma would you understand. This woman believes in visiting the orphans and widows in their †distress, that is literally her job as a caregiver at 77 (nearly 78) years old. I’ve seen my small but strong and wise grandma lift and guide an older gentlemen from his seat to the wheelchair and help people in their distress over and over again.

I’ve witnessed how this woman (my grandma) has loved a family that has rejected her time and time again. My grandma has slept outside in her cold car because she was unwelcome by family only to come back and love again and again. How… do… you… do… that? I’ve heard and seen the treatment, the abuse, she’s endured for the sake of Who she believes in and yet with humility sharing only her mistakes without blaming anyone else. She was told where to sit and what to do if she wanted to see her grand kids and guess what…she did. Writing this infuriates me, yet remembering, “Nathan, Nathan, how I was treated doesn’t matter…” are you kidding me!

My grandma is the type that might scold me for this praise but you’re reading a result of her labor in the Lord her God and I’ll scream aloud “Jesus Christ is Lord!” Because no navy seal can compare to my grandma, bring it! Just kidding, don’t hurt me. The point is religion is a religious practice of what you believe. And my grandma practiced hard with her Bible not only in hand or by word, but her actions. It’s true there are a lot of religions that provoke a lot of questions and demand certain practices, but that is the reason I labor for the preaching of the gospel to all nations.

Because religion to the gospel is defined by visiting the orphans and widows in their distress while being unstained by the world. It is not putting yourself in chains as though you can’t have fun or enjoy life. But it is respecting the true God of your soul and having a relationship with Him every moment of every day. I’m not saying you can’t have a drink of alcohol unless it’s to your destruction (abuse it—then don’t drink it). I’m not saying don’t have a cigarette or cigar, maybe even marijuana depending on where you live, but not to your destruction (addicted—then don’t smoke it).

You might be convinced you’re unable to break a bad habit, but respectfully, you’re wrong. That is like saying, “I won’t stop cheating on my wife because I’m unable, I’ll get cranky, so wheres my porn at!” We all have the ability but lack the discipline because we’re given over to not caring, “who cares”. The One Who created us cares, God didn’t create an experience (sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll) to be abused or take control of you. Have an experience in moderation and respect of wisdom and honor. Now that … is quite a thrill!

Don’t make a religion your excuse not to believe in this gospel being preached to you. We need more Christians speaking, writing, videoing the essential of the gospel of Jesus Christ; Not speaking, writing, videoing my/their personal preference, expectation, or standard of life change—the Holy Spirit of God that convicts every believer will do that work of salvation, justification, and sanctification. We are just providential agents.

I love you Grandma,

Nathan Dooley

The Testing Of Your Faith

What use is it, if someone says they have faith but no works? Can that faith save them? If a person is without clothing and in need of food, and you say to them, “Go in peace, be covered and filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? (James 2:14-16). Is there a person in your life that is without clothing (help) and in need of something to eat (spiritual food)? Are you that person?

I’m going to use the figurative language of “clothing” and “food” to *self-control* and *wisdom* for my case. Because I do not know and will not presume to know what help you need without learning your heart (so feel invited to reach out to me). But learning of my embarrassment might help you. It’s embarrassing, as well it should be, to confess my recent lack of self-control to my wife and brothers in Christ. It wasn’t that I’d looked at pornography or sought anything out to feed this duress of orgasmic relief. But to keep it “C” rated, Christian rated. I uhhh, “choked the chicken” if you will, and the chicken liked it. I know, deranged, I agree. But the heart of my issue is a relationship between respect and worship.

I say that my faith is in Jesus Christ. So why then am I still given over to these lustful temptations? Why hasn’t the Holy Spirit removed the struggle of sin from my life?

My struggle of respect is subcategory to the root issue of pride. I think to myself, “now that the Holy Spirit lives within me I’ve overcome sin.” Give special attention to the I’ve of that thought process. Now … because I was given over to the lust of my heart being a christian can handle it one of two ways. Get frustrated enough to say, “Sense I’m unable to resist the urge; I must not be saved, and or am stepping away from faith for now.” (John 6:66) (confused about the power of faith) or “I’m a sinner saved by grace through faith, it’s not of myself, but is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) and confess it for healing (knocked down, but it’s not over, let’s do this). Share this post if you know someone that can relate to this because they’re not alone. We are in this fight together in Christ.

“Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart.”

Psalm 26:2

I don’t want to be like the disciples that walked away just because the testing of their faith was hard (John 6:66). This will be hard to hear because it’s hard to ask, but in love. Are you a coward? Am I a coward? Let’s brow beat about it! Listen, only your friends are going to tell you what you need to hear and I want to be your friend even if you don’t like me. Believe me, I don’t like myself a lot of the time. I mean…my poor wife (I love you honey). I digress.

It is especially difficult to recognize the “clothing” *self-control* I need if I don’t respect anyone telling me where I’m wrong or allow them to help me let alone the Lord my God and Father in Heaven by the power of His Spirit in the Word of His Son—the gospel. It is a hard HIT to my pride when I think I’ve overcome sin that I never overcame nor will ever overcome MYSELF.

This is the GIFT and LOVE of God; that He gave the ONLY ONE capable of overcoming sin, and it took DYING for it to be overcome.

Just because I was baptized in reflection of the death of Christ does not qualify me as having overcome sin (as though I did it myself). It means that I recognize that I’m not capable of overcoming sin (which brings me to the point of death saying “I’m a sinner” in need of saving from this death) and will always NEED the spiritual food {bread and wine} of JESUS CHRIST {blood and body} which is eternal salvation for my soul (Holy Spirit inspired Word of God). That is why I rejoice in these trials and tribulations even when I miss the mark because Christ my Lord DID NOT MISS THE MARK!

I mean … writing this gets me pumped up and ready for war like the appearance of God just showed up having eyes a flame of fire clothes dipped in blood and His name called The Word of God that strikes down the beast and kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS! (Revelation 19). So…

…don’t let sin convince you of your worth to God, you are tested because you are worthy of His love.

I encourage you as a brother of the faith in Jesus Christ, you’re not alone and we need each other. Read Hebrews chapter 12! My (food) *wisdom* is found there. But here is a piece of it—

“4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,

My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor faint when you are reproved by Him;
For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He scourges every son whom He receives.”

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”

Also, the action steps I’ve taken to go to war against the present duress of sin is memorizing:

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:6-10)

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:7-10)

I Don’t Follow Jesus

I Don’t Follow Jesus

“What!? No.” I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not trolling you. And remember, even though I don’t follow Jesus … keep loving people like He did and treat them as you want to be treated. Don’t try and scroll down to see what my aim is here. Does it surprise you? I mean…

I think John L. Cooper said it best—

“More and more of our outspoken leaders or influencers who were once “faces” of the faith are falling away. And at the same time they are being very vocal and bold about it.” (link)

And it only makes sense according to the Christian Post—

“Back in the 1930s, only 5% of Americans did not identify with any religion. In 1990 that number had risen to 8%, a modest increase after more than half a century.

But these last years have brought a dramatic change. By 2008, the number of Americans not identifying with any religion had risen to 12%, and by 2012, it had risen to 20%, with the number among millennials around 30%.” (link)

So this should not come as a surprise to you if it does. Especially if you’ve read how dark my previous post was. I mean, come on. I’ve been in the pits of unquenchable fire and suffering. I guess now the question is whether I truly EVER followed after Jesus? Some might think that my believing was in vain and only wanted something to gain. That I NEVER truly believed.

I would disagree and counter you misunderstand the enlightenment of your own faith or have not been enlightened to the truth of the gospel altogether. Just because you read that I don’t follow after Jesus does not mean that I wasn’t enlightened by the truth of the gospel, see I still know the truth and that is what should make this statement alarming.

The real question is—

Can the person turned away from their faith in Christ re-enter the Christian faith?

Sense we are talking about me because I’m selfish. The answer to that question for me is “no” because in my case I’ve confessed to taste the heavenly gift that made me a partaker of the Holy Spirit. So it is impossible for me to be renewed again to repentance since I again crucify to myself the Son of God and put Him to open shame. Don’t believe me, check out Hebrews chapter 6 in your Bible.

It is the Holy Spirit through the inspired words of the Bible that speak with authority … I’m just a messenger.

That is what happened to Judas Iscariot. Judas held onto his thievery at heart, did not confess this sin. To do this leaves the “believer” (by association) in this case, Judas Iscariot, vulnerable to Satan’s influence (John 12:4-6) and ultimate possession. This is why it is so important for professing Christians to not sell their soul for the cost of their sin not confessed.

38 John said to Him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him, for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is for us. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward. (Mark 9)

49 John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.” 50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is ]for you.” (Luke 9)

I’ll confess that I used this title to especially peak the interest of those who thought they knew me to catch them like a fish. Because it’s the kind of friend I am, it’s what I do, that’s my humor and getting a rise out of my friends is quite fun, I admit. Not with the intention of destruction of course, then there would be an issue.

I wasn’t lying about not following Jesus, but I do follow after Jesus with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind. So brothers and sisters in the faith, don’t hinder me just because I’m not following after the style of gospel in you. Don’t hinder me just because you think there are enough christian resources out there for me to get plugged into one without having to startup a recourse of my own. Don’t hinder me…

In Love.

Divided

Divided

It’s sad to reach a point in life when the thought of hell seems much more appealing than to remain in the skin of your flesh. When the thought of escape is your only option, but are petrified. When a call for help is not meant for saving.

I don’t hate my life. But that unreliable feeling of hate sure is poking and prodding. What I hate is being divided by the questions and doubts of people that presume to know me when they don’t have a clue; there is just not enough time in the world to be completely free with people that choose not to believe they can trust you unless you adhere to their “divine” perception for you, then they might believe. As long as you stay within their realm of interpretation and perception.

It’s incredible the amount of attention you will draw to demons when living for your faith “Jesus as Lord” by recognizing sin for what it is and how I’m in desperate need of salvation. It’s incredible the sirens and temptations in place just for you. It’s a constant crouching (Genesis 4:7):

“Those people see you as a tyrant. That woman wants you. That man desires you. Do this to get rich. Say that to make a difference. You’re a sexy beast, well endowed, who can resist. It feels good to be right. It feels good to have power. You’re a liar. You’re a fraud, poser, fake, and the list goes on because you’re unworthy. Don’t waste my time. You have our undivided attention. Look at him, he is better than you in every way. You’re smart and beautiful, but ugly and stupid too. I feel depressed. You’re unstable, unfit, unqualified. Here is your kingdom of heaven! No, there it is!”

I ask myself, “why is this happening?” But it only makes sense. Because…demons are taking the time the world does not have to get to know you and me. Whether the world or I want to believe that or not, the truth sets us free. I hate this spiritual war that divides my soul and blood into pieces as bread for demons and wine for their minions. If you are a believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ, you’ll understand this war, but if not then I hope this will prick at your conscience because you’re held captive thinking you’re free.

They are clever. The devil and his demons … but I see them. And they know that I see them. “It’s a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31). I’m in hell learning the tips and tricks of insanity navigating my way through the crowd in hope to save some if not all, “have you heard…“.

It’s sad…

Man…wow, I let myself go there; It’s like, clean up your face or something before you just brow beat up the online world!

I’m learning a lot about this blog stuff. It’s important to stay consistent on posting. So here is one on why we need to be mindful of our facial expressions and upkeep. I mean look at that! I disgust myself! Although it is proving useful for some humor!

I have a time limit, so here we go!

Sometimes we can get so caught up in our emotions that we don’t even realize how our faces look to the outside world. You might be going into work right now without a care in the world, but let’s brow beat about that because you should care. If you’re a discontent person, don’t think that it’s disguised behind the veil of your fake face. It’s not hard to figure out if your a mean stupid idiot or not.

I won’t forget about the time going into work as a maintenance engineer (said lightly because there was still so much for me to learn) of a 14-story, five star, class AA office tower building (flex) to talk with the site supervising security officer at the time about life.

The officer was telling me about a circumstance in life that greatly concerned me because of the compromise of integrity and character that not only harmed himself, but had the potential to deteriorate the health of his family. So needless to say the conversation became serious enough that the officer said, “lets brow beat outside”. Once the conversation concluded, much respect was developed for each other by our ability to agree and disagree without compromising the relationship.

Now unfortunately that is not always the case. But the point is that our facial expressions have just as much power if not more, to deliver a message, as our words do.

So what message are you sending to yourself and the world today?

If you’re not content. Why aren’t you? Maybe this will help…

It’s funny! No idea my wife was recording me laugh at what I still thought was so funny, but probably even more funny that my wife has this confused look (again those facial expressions) why I find some things so funny that are not funny to her at all. I think that makes the situation more hilarious!

Anyway … I’ve crossed my deadline getting this published before the work day began. I hope it finds you with joy and if not, will put you in a joyful mood. I know it’s hard sometimes especially when in a state of depression.

In love.

The “Bridge” Illustration (Part 1)

The Heart Of Lucifer

I’m speaking to those of you who have heard and are still hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet not believing.

I’m not speaking to those who claim they’ve not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I think the lot of you not believing in this gospel is grounded on a profound question:

Does that mean those who have not heard are going to Hell?

My quick opinionated answer is “way above my pay grade” and a strong “depends” (potential future post) because wherever they are in their respective regions of the world are entirely entrusted to the providential care of God. (Romans 1:18-32) (Romans 2:12-16)

I need you only narrow your gaze in retrospect of your personal belief system. But widen your gaze in respect of what we are about to discover in the Bible together.

We are going to discover some spiritual clarity by this satellite view of the gospel.

BP1

You’ll find the same photo presented above in the previous (Introduction) post. But thisBefore the Beginning of Man time our view is not so disoriented as in the previous photo, because we could not perceive whether we’re looking skyward at the clouds, or a fog, maybe dense smoke in the wind?

But we now have some clarity. We have a satellite view of the Earth looking at clouds over the Indian Ocean with Indonesia and Malaysia to the east.

If you are a person that does not believe in the God of the Bible, the testimony of Jesus Christ. Then my confrontation is that you have a disorienting view of your future that threatens the condition of your soul and place in eternity.

That confrontation has the potential to come across judgmental—as though the answer of my hypothetical is the gavel to your freedom. I’ll assure you that that is not the case.

I lived in a thought that I believed, but didn’t truly understand what that meant until realizing more and more, day after day, the process of sanctification. Mind you, it is still in process. So lets widen our gaze.

BP1.

The gospel instructs me to make disciples; the bible is my instruction manual, and the Spirit of God is bearing witness to all that is being written by me and read by you; it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God, so although humorous at times, do not take this lightly; my soul and spirit are distressed at the concern for those who can honestly say from within that they’ve heard the gospel, but are scared to trust in the message and or have turned away from the faith altogether.

Don’t be afraid. Come trust in this gospel of Jesus Christ. You’re being recruited for war against the evil oppressor of your soul and the souls of all nations.

The harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.

Stick with me! Because in case you didn’t notice by the plethora of distractions, we‘re on the verge of a misconception.

self-sustainability *

How that ties, comes together, is actually the start of our revelation to the “bridge” illustration. It begins at the heart of Lucifer revealed in the 2nd and 3rd chapters of Genesis, the 14th chapter of Isaiah, 28th chapter of Ezekiel, and the 12th/13th chapters of Revelation.

Don’t misinterpret or misunderstand the use of the video above. I’m not “knocking it”. Technology is a useful tool when maintained in biblical context. That video is only meant to describe and enlighten how advanced we are and to alert the christian children growing up in this age to an inevitable prophecy. Don’t freak out!

Oh yeah. Time for some coffee!

Zoo Lights At The Dallas Zoo|Experience

Once we were through the entrance … all the pressure and stress left.

It was not an easy drive into the Dallas Zoo to see the Zoo Lights. We didn’t realize that patience needed to be packed, gOOdNite! The heck is wrong with people! Why is it so difficult for everyone to be civilized on the road, you know…waiting our turns, giving the right-away. I mean, no lie, a couple prayers went out for you people without patience and consideration. I’m the only one allowed without patience, not you. Get it right! Joke, that was a joke, have mercy.

Prepare to leave 15-30 minutes earlier than your original scheduled time and make sure to pack patience for the drive.

Once we made it to the entrance gate to wait on some friends realized they checked *ID’s* “no exceptions” (thankfully we had ours on us).

Have your drivers license with you at the entrance gate.

Once we were through the entrance … all the pressure and stress left. It was an awesome experience and worth the trouble to get in.

Why Men Should Have Long Hair

No offense to the men with short or no hair. This is the first time I’ve grown my hair out as long as it is and I must say, it can feel real good when your wife plays with it! There is something about having long hair that gives a sense of accomplishment! So if you’re capable of growing it out, try it, but if not, get a wig. It will be fun and funny.

Pros To Men With Long Hair:
  • If you’re married or have girls, expect it decorated and played with on the regular.
  • When well groomed, the look can give off a strong sophisticated appearance.
  • Samson
  • Conversation starter on 1 Corinthians 11:14 (although that hasn’t happened yet).
  • Once long enough, you can donate it.
  • Enlightenment on the maintenance that seems to come so naturally for ladies.

Cons To Men With Long Hair:
  • None

Kidding. There are actually several cons to men with long hair, but that can wait for a future post!

Exit To Enter

Exit To Enter

Have you seen the movie, “The Adjustment Bureau”. If you haven’t I think it’s worth the watch because sometimes you’re at a place in life where the exit of what you thought was your career or direction is worth the risk.

There is a scene toward the end of this movie that will resonate with anyone, if it doesn’t, then you don’t have a soul. Kidding. But seriously, watch this scene!

It’s awesome because both David (Matt Damon) and Elise (Emily Blunt) reject an inexorable plan of success for the opportunity at love. They both took the “exit” of their separate reality’s that would otherwise lead to impact the future for good by their success to “enter” a reality of unity in love despite the odds. That requires a great deal of faith that I believe is available at the very core of our nature. And once tapped into, you’ve succeeded the plan of your environment to face uncertainty and death with freedom. Do you feel free? It might be time to consider an exit.

When You’ve Cheated On Her In Her Dream

When You’ve Cheated On Her In Her Dream

I wake up to my wife getting ready for work and check how I can help, make coffee, prepare food, or whatever to get her on her way. But something was off. I notice some distance. Before asking anything, she says, “I’m a little mad at you because you cheated on me in my dream.” Now…I’m laughing on the inside because she is trying hard not to treat me like this actually happened, but assure her that it was just a dream. Then she asks, “What would you have done if I caught you?”

The narcissistic egotistical pride thought process says, “That question is unwarranted and is not possible because I wouldn’t get caught.” and (even if that thought is a joke) would invalidate her present feelings. Don’t do that. The considerate prudent thought process is realizing how this dream has affected her, and embracing with, “It wouldn’t be healthy for me to answer as though that has or were going to happen; the thoughts that surround that question only mean for harm on the covenant of our marriage, but let me reassure that I love you and will honor our marriage.”

Husbands and Wives. Marriages. Let this be an encouragement to you. We are at war, not against each other, but for each other!

With love.

The Bridge Illustration

(Introduction)

Let there be curiosity.

Do you ever wonder about your beginning?  Your parents’ parents, their parents, on and on? And how about your existence, living at this present time with a detailed conscience that defines who you are and whats more; a consciousness about yourself, others, and God? What about your end, when you die? Do you wonder about that? Or how about the future, the end of your children and their grandchildren? Are you wondering, will you wonder…?

Before the Beginning of Man

Moses of the Bible was a man who wondered. He wondered at the sight of a burning bush (Exodus 3) that would not be consumed. This bush changed Moses’ life! I can hear you christian critics now “it wasn’t the bush…” neh neh neh

tenor

Disclaimer: I (Nathan Dooley) am not an ordained minister…yet. It could happen one day. Just saying.

And I would agree with you…definitely not the “bush” that changed his life; it was the appropriate tangible object to use for the presence of God and His awareness to a specific problem which Moses’ gets insight, clarification, prophecy, and power to be a solution. He became the man [vessel, or instrument of God] to deliver his fellow Hebrew people, the people of God, Israel, from Egyptian slavery to a promised land of milk and honey. He brought forth what we are now dissecting in the 21st century (Exodus 34:27)—the first five books (Genesis—Deuteronomy) of the Pentateuch (Greek) or Torah (Hebrew) Bible. The scripture in the photo above gives me a bit of insight into what Moses discovered from God, the beginning before the beginning of man (Genesis 2:4-6). If you have not realized by now, this is not your typical “”the “bridge” illustration”” you’d find through research as shown below:

bridge ill research

Which is some awesome content worth looking into! But I want to go further and deeper because this bridge stretches “As far as the east is from the westSo far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)…

…, from past to future, beginning…to end.

To get back where I’d left off. I think it’s important to note that Moses had a very important entrepreneurial trait, he was a risk taker. When realizing that the bush was not consumed by the fire could’ve reacted like “AWE HAIL NAW, NOPE, NOT HAPPEN-IN!” and ran away. But he didn’t do that; it was more like, “let me check this here awesome burning but not burnt bush out, mmm-kay.”. Funny aside, actually, and quite literally according to the NASB of Exodus 3:3—”I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up.”

QUESTION:

WHAT IS A RISK YOU’VE TAKEN OR WOULD TAKE THAT HAS OR WOULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE? WRITE IT IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.

Take a risk with me now. For those of you who do not believe or are otherwise on the fence about believing in God, this is your burning bush moment. Your name is being called. Go meet God. Matter of fact, envision this:

You type “Go meet God” in your google maps (which could also be your nearest “Barnes & Noble” or “Half Price Books” that have Bibles available) and then hear my navigating voice upon your arrival at a Bible location, “you have arrived at your burning bush”. Get it, instead of “destinat…

weird face

Alright never-mind, that was weird, scratch that:

You type “Go meet God” in your google maps (which could also be your nearest “Barnes & Noble” or “Half Price Books” that have Bible’s available) and then hear my navigating voice upon your arrival at a Bible location, “you have arrived at your burning bush”. Get it, instead of “destinat…moving on.

But seriously. Take the risk to go meet God. Check out this link for the BibleGateway, or install the YouVersion bible app on your phone, find your nearest library or book store; it’s all at your finger tips, but read the Bible to hear the Word of God and listen with all that you are and everything you’ve got (heart, mind, soul, and strength). Why take the risk? You might ask. Because death pricks at the conscience of the living. Our life is an experience that feels on fire, yet not consumed. I believe that death bears testimony of a wrong doing in history where we as a created being of God missed the mark and are due justice. I also believe that God was completely prepared for such an event and that is where we’ll find Christ, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let this introduction of the bridge illustration peak your interest to discover your faith and take the risk to believe in the God of the Bible, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because without faith to believe, you will not understand what is to come. Thank you for reading the >introduction<! Now go meet God and I’ll hope your back for <part 1>!

Chronological Bible Study-The Beginning of Beginnings

img_4762-1.jpg
The Baker Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Time Lines

Join me on Mt. Sinai with God and Moses to discover the beginning of our beginning. This is a very exhausting study but well worth the time and effort. In my Bible I learn that Moses is the author of the first five books also known as the Pentateuch. These books were more than likely written during the 40-year period of Israel’s wanderings in the desert: 1446—1406 BC

Note: the “BC” given after the calendar year (1446—1406 BC) means “Before Christ” but if you see “BCE” (nowadays), don’t be alarmed, it just means “Before Common Era“. (According to my research). The reasons surround appeasing those not Christian and an arguably inaccurate calculation of  Jesus’ birth. It’s believed that Jesus Christ was born around 6—4 BC, which is why these labels (BCE/CE) “CE” for “Common Era” are being used today by many publications rather than (BC/AD) “AD” meaning “the year of the Lord” as it references a Latin phrase: anno domini (“the year of the Lord”—after Jesus was born.)

So why Moses? “God… Why Moses?”—A prayer guiding me through a lot of scripture to uncover the context of that time. Moses was beautiful in the sight of his mother and lovely in the sight of God. God heard the outcry of the sons of Israel at the time of their oppression in Egypt and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It’s time to organize the sons of Israel as God’s covenant people and Moses is the man God will be with to do it. It all points to Jesus Christ.

I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning (Conclusion)

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

“17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10)

What demons are effecting you? I needed to read this again. The serpents and scorpions I face are but whispers of fleeting pleasures that distract me from my purpose. I ask myself, “How do I defeat them? There are so many.” The enemy whispers back, “here’s an idea…” And so here I am, stuck in this pattern of doubtful questions, my faith deteriorating. Revive me Lord, save me from this present evil, You are my salvation. Your blood alone is the ink of my name in the book of life. I will follow you, teach me by Your Spirit as you taught people in the time of your flesh. I love you. Amen.

I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning (Part 1)

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Who is Satan? I think gotquestions.org answers this question well. But how was this angelic being susceptible to evil? That intrigues me. If I’m not careful how to explore the meaning of such a question, might be in danger of the same demise as Satan. We can observe that evil is available at the throne of God, but although available, does not penetrate God. How can we know? I believe the answer is found by a relationship with His Son.

Jesus Christ (the Son of God) said this:

17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10)

Is it not a matter of faith to trust a person at their word? Say my dad owns a business that he entrusts to professions, and I (his son) am sent to tell those professionals the reason for our success is their shared ownership of this company. The professionals operated as laborers, but once I arrived as rightful owner to tell them of their ownership…they operated as professionals. Why the change? Because, by faith, they believed to be owners, and rightfully so because my word is true. To question my authority is to be without faith in who I am, where I came from, and the power I have. I believe the same to be true in that passage of scripture. If I believe in the testimony of Jesus as Jew from Nazareth and Son of God risen from death by the power of God, and provoke by questioning what authority He has, am doubting who He is, where He came from, and the power He has. Do not put the Lord your God to the test (Luke 4:12). Alright, I need some ice cream…see you in part 2.

Coffee At Midnight In The Giant City

Featured photo: Ben Jacobi www.bdjphoto.com

Have you ever discovered the moment you’re awake at midnight with some coffee looking at a photo that is talking to you? That is where I’m at. When I first encountered this photo the word “maze” came to mind describing my immediate perception, but learned that this maze is called “Giant City” in Illinois. But aside from that information. This photo that speaks is, actually, not the one talking.

The very Person in my mind I think about when looking into this photo is Jesus Christ. But I don’t claim to see an image of a person I’ve never seen, nor do I claim to hear His voice having never heard what it sounds like. I claim to perceive Him. There are a number of different ways this photo is interpreted for bearing meaning in my life, but there is only one that will make a difference. The meaning of Jesus Christ. When I look at this photo I experience a walk with the Holy Spirit of God teaching me the truth about myself within the maze of this world. No matter the path this world has to offer, it is a path to death just as you see the paths presented in the photo, but there is a path you won’t see unless you perceive it. That path, is a path of faith.

To experience faith is to place your confidence in a promise that someone gives you.

I promise you, follow me and we’ll get out of this maze.

The question is whether you’ll believe in the promise even if the person that promised dies. That is what Jesus Christ—being the image of God as the Son of God—promised. He promised that He would be raised from the dead and resurrected to the right hand of God. That is recorded to have happened in history past, but is still a living promise today. The promise is for those that believe to be resurrected with Him right now, having been baptized with Christ as a symbol of obedience by repentance. You’ve chosen to acknowledge that all born from the seed of Adam are guilty of sin (lust, idolatry, and pride) and so convicted to the point of death that you place your trust in the promise of God. The grace of God is given through that promise of faith, you have mercy, not wrath. But if you do not believe in that promise, you have His wrath, not mercy.

So my purpose in the maze of this world is to plant a seed, a seed of promise. The promise that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Everyone is born into this life by the design of God, a design that was good corrupted by evil. So every person has had, has, and will have the opportunity to believe, ask the thief on the cross that died with Christ.
